I remember hearing somewhere that weed reduces the amount of a persons REM sleep. That's the deep sleep when dreams occur. So, if your reducing your deep sleep it does make sense that you are tired the next day.

i smoked up last night, and today i was a useless bag of feces. i fell asleep every class, and ended up not hearing the last dismissal bell and leaving like 20 minutes after school got out.Quote:

I don't dream at all when I am smoking, so I believe that REM is decreased when you get high. When I take breaks, after about 2 days of not smoking, I'll start dreaming again :) They are always very real, vivid dreams, definately more than I can ever remember. Your brain is apparrently trying to make up for the loss of REM sleep :thumbsup:Quote:
