And honestly, no matter how fucked the laws are, Emery can't really be surprised this is happening. He knew full well that he was selling to people in the US, where bud (and seeds) are illegal...I'm not saying it's right, I'm just sayin'...
I agree. But hopefully he wont get extradited. Canada seems to be a little more forward thinking then the US when it comes to mj. They have a lot of the same laws but the punishments seem to be a lot less. They know that if he is extradited he'll get life in prison here for what he'd get a slap on the wrist for in Canada. I guess it will take some balls to stand up to the US... I guess there is more on the line then seeds. I don't know what kind of grudge the US will hold if he isn't extradited.Quote:

Emery is large in Canada and has been involved with marijuana for a long time, I just wish more people would realize how monumental this is right now.
www.pot.tv has some really great clips and the 60 mins show about the BC3...
I'm hoping that it develops into more. I'm sure a lot of people didn't get to learn about it first-hand, Sunday.
Marc Emery is a good guy but he will be sent to the americas for a long prison sentence.
I really hope he isn't.. but even if he is... it will spark a new era of Marijuana legalization...I saw a segment of 60 Minutes a little while ago that interviewed and talked about the situation..
He's prepared to do time for the cause...as long as it gets the attention it deserves..
Smoke one for Marc.
Then smoke one for the cause..
Hey guys, coming from a Canadian. I do personally hope that marc comes to canada and gets tried here instead of the US. The us's legislature is way to strict to be followed in the laws of MJ. I will stick behind marc emery and me and my friends are turning our selves in on 420 to help out with the 420 rise.
I hope not he has done more for the cannabis movement than a lot out there.
Yeah!!! Gumby!!!! You tell 'em!!! Come on Folks, get behind Marc Emery. Write your congress, your MP, your MLA and your newspaer, radio and t.v. stations! Tell them you want Marc set free. Or at least tried in Canada. This is no doubt the biggest turing point in the legalization of MJ. Whatever happens to him, the cause for legalization is pushed further forward. See my other posts in other threads for more on this. :thumbsup:Quote:

Marc Emery is just leverage and a means to control the new Conservative PM. No doubt Stephen Harper will personally issue the extradiction order on Marc Emery as a sign of good faith to friend Lord Bushit. Yes, it is high time that Canadians stood up to the big bully across the road (49th. parallel) and told them to go home. I would be most happy not to do business with USA (even seeds) if it meant the American Admin. and DEA, FBI, CIA, etc. would get lost from our country once and for all. There are lots of other countries we can do business with. Too bad many of them have bowed to the facist American pressures. I saw it written on a washroom wall in Vancouver: "When America calls, hang up." Amen to that!!!! Free Marc Emery! Legalize marijuana! All together now! Peace, love!
