Ok, well this is just stupid flaming. Let's forget the heat issue for now.

I'm still wondering if the effects are like that of vaporizing (as opposed to smoking) (plus the effect of the alcohol of course), and if the effect lasts longer than vaporizing. (Hopefully someone here has done both green dragon and vaporizing several times).

I guess whether or not it feels the same as vaporizing depends on whether the other cannabanoids besides THC are soluble in alcohol (or any chemical in the alcholic drink, actually). (I'm told this is the reason smoking feels different from vaporizing - you get the other cannabanoids in the smoke).

And I don't think it would last longer. It's not going all the way through your digestive system like a brownie. Alcohol is absorbed into the bloodstream directly through your stomach lining. (When you take a shot, you're wasted like 2 seconds later on an empty stomach). So I think you're getting the effects right away, like vaporizing, only a couple seconds longer.
