back in the day, i went out and purchased an ounce of rolling tobacco and some catmint. I smoke like 4 cigerettes of it. I stood up and felt like i had been hit by some mild salvia. It was sort of cool, hardly noticable, but the smoke tasted really nice and was smooth. overall, it was cool but only someting i would want to do if i was really bored or in an extremely chill mood

No, don't smoke the catnip/catmint. It will make you cough and give nothing more than a headache.
Although, Indians use to brew catnip up in a tea and drink it. It is said that it has sedative effects and should help someone if they're not sleeping well. In other words, it will make you sleepy if you eat it, drnk it, or smoke it, but it will not get you high, in a recreation use anyways.

Yeah, i will find out myself wheter it feels good or not to smoke it, but i would more like to know how dangerous it is. I like smoking things, smoking is...fun in itself.
Ok. What about skullcap? I hear skullcap is supposed to be pretty good. Can anyone back this up? Ive read stories on erowid about people both smoking it and making tea out of it. How good is it?
CATmint or CATnip is for cats, hence the name. They don't smoke it either they just smell it. If humans smell it, it doesn't do anything or they'd have built temples to it then made it illegal. Smoking it probably won't do much harm,but why bother, it doesn't get you high so there is no point smoking it. It is this sort of mentality that makes people get addicted to tobbacco.
As for skullcap, you're venturing into the realms of psychoactivity here. Isn't this a native american smoking herb? I think that you should smoke some bud first before you start experimenting with obscure psychotropics. As for not being able to get bud, you're not trying hard enough. It's everywhere. I once saw this TV program about little eskimo children (who are actually called inuits) smoking it. Well, that wasn't what it was mostly about. I thought it was sweet but the narrator seemed concerned. A strange world we live in. Go to the park look for hippies or proper gangst people (if you are gangst and won't get beats) and ask where you can get herb. Don't engage them in conversation first, or they'll think you're a policeman. Then you'll know the difference between placebo and reality. Actually, you might not, I have a friend who gets placebo effects off all sorts of crap and he smokes a ton. But at least he's happy.

Actually, i AM trying hard. Its been about half a year now that ive been searching and asking people, but no. I know there are ganja smokers here, but you wouldnt know how difficult things are here. Finland is not ganjaland, though US may be. Im sure i will find the right people, but thats gonna take time. Im not completely lost, but its difficult.Quote:

And no, there are no hippies nor gangstas here. Nothing like that. There are no groups of people hanging out and smoking herbs in here.
What people usually reply to me, is something like "no" or "i dont support drugs, sorry" or "i cant get any myself either, il inform you if i can get some".

I heard that you can get catnip in an aresol or some kind of spray and spray it on a cigarette let it dry then smoke it that it will give you a small mild pot high but I dunno I never tried it and it dosnt seem like it would be worth it expecially if it puts holes in your lungs.
