		uh oh
LocNar, I'm all over it. They've been sequestered in their own little pollen vault. Will use them in the future to spread a little 'happiness'. :D

Stoney, Don't get so down. If your having troubles, we've all had them. One thing I try to do is keep everything as simple as possible.

First of all it takes longer than 5 days to dry properly. If you put those buds in an air tight container, for lets say 8 hours, it will bleed some of the moisture from in the center to the outside. Then leave the container open and let dry again. Then repeat. You will need to do this several times.

Freshly MJ will taste and smell different. As time goes on it will eventully smell what you are used to.

Second, if your starting 6-10 plants (or more) you are going to need a light that will cover a bigger area during veg. That is where the MH light comes in. If you are growing for a small army this what you will need. But if you are growing for personnal use it is overkill. MH will provide excellent light to veg plants, even only one or two (or more). They also cause plants to stretch. I don't want tall plants. I want short bushy plants with compact plant structure. They cost more to run and generate more heat and are more expensive than florescents.

I ideally only want 2 female plants. I sprout mine in a south window in 2 gallon containers. Then move them under a single fixture (2 tubes 40w each). After about a week I add another fixture. Then I cut between the first and second node. You've seen what this does? I keep the light at about 2 inches above. This produces a short, stocky, bushy plant. It gives the roots a chance to fill the container without being transplanted from a tiny (cup?) container. After about 6 weeks I switch to HPS and start to flower. I transplant to 5 gallon container. I make enough soil for the 2 gallon and the 5 gallon containers at the same time and store it for when I want to transplant.

With only 2 plants you can bet that a 400W HPS will provide plenty of light. If you have a compact plant you will get flower production that will grow into nice :D colas.

As far as nutes go, I'm no expert. I just use the basic stuff. I don't want to over feed. I am very careful when it comes to this. I remember a long time ago when one of my friends though he would do a grow. His stuff would start to spark if you tried to smoke it. Way to much.

Latewood gave me a tip (Thanks Latewood) about some nutes. He also has some thread about them. I would just pick something for veg and something for flower to start with. Then just use a water flush.

 Remember keep it simple. ;)
