Don't let not having a medical journal infront of you stop you from making clear and provable statements. If you can go and find the studies then you should be able to make the argument and back it up later if they want you to. Also none of the anti-drug people ever hesitate to make claims like "marijuana is addictive" without having the studies to back that up. If they ask for proof of you points then present it and them turn the blamethrower back on them and ask for their proof.
Another arguement that could be made is the fact that our constitution was written on hemp

While they build nuclear Bombs, and star war weapons, to take away your rights to a clear consceince!
Burning fossil fuels to darken the skies, and make acid rain, that then pollutes the waters and streams...killing things knowingly!
They tell lies, and make up stories to scare the children from using this wonderious plant!
Planet Earth is now crying out to us in a very profound way!
Marijuana can help ease the pollution our social systems are dumping into the elemental elements!
We need to reduce C02, and clean up the waters, and soil!
Marijuana is a living filter that can do these tasks!
It can also offer us good heath, and healthy animals!
But the big guns don't want that!
As long as Marijuana is outlawed round the world, we will have poverty, sickness and suffering!
And while they oppress the other nations to comply to this foolish human law, they go pointing fingers to continue the bloodshed of our brothers and sisters!
Dashing it on the masses that pay the tax that keeps that evil hand alive!
The war on Drugs is a war on our own childrens future!
Nothing worng with having a puff, and feeling good, or trying to forget our woes...
But I must say we are given a choice!
Don't let them take away your rightful choice to do God's will!
Put it back sinlessly in the garden, and gain eternal life.

today at school i decided to see what the school online resources had to say about marijuana. i just about wanted to shoot myself in the face. so then i decided to go to the FDA's website, and see what their position was on cannabis. i was actually pleased with what i saw. although the FDA didnt approve marijuana, it presented its research very objectively. The FDA has approved 2 medicines containing synthetic THC, and supports further research into the medical aspects of the botanical product. Although they do state that smoking the marijuana was an extremely harmful way of extracting the THC, and that different methods would have to be developed (didnt mention ingestion or vaporization).
all in all i didnt find anything that was blatantly biest against cannabis. im glad that there is at least one government organization that views marijuana scientifically instead of ethically.
But you have to realize that the FDA's approval of products containing synthetic THC as well as cannabis extract (Sativex) is not support for the marijuana movement. If anything it is exactly the opposite. These companies are capitalizing on a plant that grows in the dirt. They would lobby strongly against decriminalization because they can't make money off of their extract if you can make your own at home. These new "breakthrough" drugs containing THC are unfortunately becoming part of the problem not the solution.
Just ask yourself: If I can take a medication made from real cannabis extract why can't I just use real cannabis?
The FDA is becoming a political organization whose loyalty lies with the pharmaceutical industry. With the massive recalls of drugs lately I'd say their process of objective review of new medications borders on the criminal.

people who disregard the truth about marijuana are no friends of mine. people who are against a substance they have never experianced first hand, or even second hand from experiance with those who use, are ignorant, and have no say in arguement, and deserve an ass beating.
illogical as it is to ban marijuana, and as successfully the government has been in brainwashing the masses, there's just notrhing we can do about it but wait for them to die. they are so religiously against pot that it would take jesus christ himself, in the flesh and bone, coming down from the sky on international live TV before they would ever accept the true truth...
and even then... people are stupid enough not to :(
