I have thought of how to grow.
Hey Carl, Ive just germinated a Lowryder seed (after an unsuccessful attempt) and will be growing it in soil, in a space about 2ft x 2ft, and around 4ft high. Ill be posting a growlog and updating it daily, so at least youll be able to learn from my mistakes.
Ill be using a 25w flouro for sidelighting, and a 600w CFL for the toplight. There is about an inch of space for air to come in, and fresh air will be coming in above, below and next to the plant. Air will be circulated by a 12" desk fan.

Yeah man the heat could work to your advantage but that cold can seriously harm you. Sounds like a plan, as long as you know what your doing..and..not that um..IDK
Get a sodium light..just my PERSONAL OPINION that it's not worth growing <to yield product or good buds.> unless you have the proper lights.
Sodium lights help bud? I'll shut up before I make myself look stupid I've never grown to yield in my life, just to learn...
Fluorescents...Heat Lamps...HPS...

I understand how to grow dont worry I have read up about it. The only things I really need to learn about are what lights and I think ventilation. But ventilation isnt a problem because I think I can just cut holes in my grow cabinet. Is there any such thing as a really small fan say with a 6 inch blade? Only asking because the cabinet wont be big and getting a 12 inch fan will make more noise and not do much to help my grow.

Yeah they actually have fans smaller than that..I have a four inch bladed fan sitting right next to me..But I can tell you from experience, reading is a GREAT first step but experience is key.
I wish I had experience so I can yield buds that are actually worth smoking

Yeah I have read up about lowryder on overgrow.com and there seems to be a lot of inconsistencies among the grow report. SOme of the growers get less than a half ounce per plant and some of them are getting 50 grams from each plant.

All I grow is lowryder it is a unique genus and it has it's own specific prefrences for lighting/cycles etc. Yeild all depends upon equiptment, ventalation etc.

How much do you get off your plants rasta and how do you grow?
This is the last question when I have fully mature plants how do I cure them. I was thinking of just hanging them up for a couple of weeks as they are.
I have thought of how to grow.
Nah.. Don't do that.. Cure them correctly and it tastes SOOOO much better!:D
HARDDON's advice!: )
1. Cut the bud at your desired location. DO NOT CUT OR TRIM AT THIS POINT EXCESS FOILAGE. The leaves still contain saccharides which need to assist in the sustainment of THC production.
2. HANG IN DARKNESS! Do not expose your fresh buds to light anymore than is needed.
3. After two days, carefully, in dim light, spend some time cutting all the fans as close to the stem as possible.
4. Hang in dark 2 more days.
At this point the buds will feel crunchy and dry...but they are not. DOn;t be fooled.
5. Now cut all unwanted stems and place in brown paper bags, loosley, and roll the bag up. Keep in dark.
6. Every day, open the bag and let it air out for about 10 minutes. Re roll it shut. DO this for 5 days.
7. At this time all external moisture is gone and the stem will bend easily...but still be too green to snap.
8. I then place the buds in jars and leave them in darkness. You will have no mold issues at this time. Simply remove the top every other day. Let stand for 5 minutes or so...reseal and redo in 2 days.
The longer you do this the smoother the smoke, the less weed / hay smell and the natural oils will over take the green smell and your tomatos will smell as GOD intended them to.
Many ways to cure...this is just one I read on the net.

cureing is straight foward, after drying u can put em in mason jars for aslong as u want(longer the better) just google it
i wouldnt go for lowryder really at all, since youve got the space a few nice full size plants will do u much better off then lowryder, but if you havent got space then fair enough.
and ventilation depends on lighting and the room itself, if youre going to use a HPS/MH then yes ventilation is nessecary, and also if the rooms gets really hot in the summer it aint going to do no good for ur plants at all! you need a fresh air supply coming into that room all the time aswell.
