1. Do you need a filter for joints? i always put in a filter. thats how i was taught thats how i stay
2. What do u use as a filter? note cards
3. Can you just roll up another paper and put it in as the filter? whenever i have tried this it gets wet from someone fish lippin it and seals up. i dont like it.
4. Which end do u twist?!?! the end w/o the filter :)
also. i always leave big roaches and roll next gen joints
I'd personally recommend just shelling out the ten bucks or whatever for a rolling machine. I remember when I was first starting smoking in high school I could always get the first joint rolled, but after that was finishes let's just say my dexterity wasn't necessarily top notch. The rolling machine takes all the work out and rolls perfect joints everytime, regardless of your state of mind.
rollers are really nice, thats what i use now. but i still put a filter in it
Rollers suck
Learn the craft or don't smoke
No need to get lippy about a little roller, its a preference.
I use part of a note card in mine, and I think it makes them a hell of a lot better, just because they have a nice place to hold them when you get down to the end. Not to mention, I think it looks much more impressive to look at.
Its a personal choice for the filter, but they are a big plus in my books.
Buy a pouch of smoking tobaco and practice with that. Its way cheaper than MJ and lets you learn the basic techniques.
Also, try to be visible when you are practicing your hand rolled cigs. Let people see you and ask questions. That way, if you get caught rolling with MJ you have established reasonable doubt. They will either think its tobaco, or when you deny everything they will be more likely to believe you.
Machine = no skillQuote:

I roll mine by hand too, but sometimes it's just easier to roll the machine and not have to think about what you are doing.
I know that when I am a couple bowls into a session, and I wanna joint, I dont have the motor skills to roll a J by hand.
i hope some people don't get confused with the filter, not like a cigerette filter where it actually does filter, just a thin piece of cardboard rolled up for the smoking end of the joint, should call it a mouth piece.
