always a good idea test with the back of your hand when moving the light closer to the plants .place hand at top ov the plant for a min or so an if its hot , lights to close :D ..
sorry ur tomato plants are a little crispy .but it was still good advice from GN.

Bend them over for one week, using plastic tie-wraps, then release them. I found 12 inches high enough spacing for a 400HPS, IF you have a constant air supply going between the light and the plants.
so, you worked out the adequate ventilation needed if the light was going to be this close, and you cheked the temperature so that you wouldnt do exactly what you have done.Quote:
