Brush your hair but dont do it all together do it section by section
keep rest tied back you might have to use abit of force and take abit of pain but it will be worth it in the end .Wish you luck

You need a (non-oily) leave-in conditioner (I assume you use rinse out conditioner on regularly in the shower) and some sort of de-frizzing cream, which will reduce the knotting loads, if not completely. I grew up with hair down to my ass, trust me..I know how it feels to have a nest in the back of your head lol.

Get some deodarant spray it on the problem area and now get a match or lighter and have a little bonfire on your head, and the added advantage of this method is you can also cook marshmallows on your head.
