Hello TC :)
Well I first tried geminating some seeds at the begining of 98, I hadn't got a clue as to what I was doing so I put them in pots and placed them in a window sill ....................... not one of them germinated :o
A little while later I was in a "hippy" type shop (you know they sold orniments and hippy style clothes and stuff) and I saw a little book called "How to grow cannabis in cool climates" by someone called Don Ivring, so I bought it.
The following weekend I was at a local market and got talking to the chap on the stall that sold seeds and stuff, and he recomended ethier Mexican stavia or RuderiallsXIndica. I thought that after the first attempt the more seeds I had the better chance of some germinating, so I bought both ;)
At the begining of April I germinated twenty seeds, ten of each ..........sucsessfully :)
I had them in little pots in the house untill the begining of May when I transfered them into a patch in the garden that I had prepared using compost and horse muck.
They grew very well, infact the Mexican stavia grew a little too tall, using the book I identified the males and cut them down and I harvested 12 feamales in the begining of October. I did lose some buds to bud rot due to the damp weather but I did it, I had a crop :)
Anyway after that lot had finished I was reading the little bit in the book about indoor growing and thought "that would be a safer way of doing it".
I found out where a growshop was and went there and told the man in there I wanted a transformer thing that could take HPS and MH bulbs because that's what the book reccomended ;)
Ever since then I have grown about 2 - 3 crops a year.
I have to say that I never really had any major problems but since coming on this site I have had wonky bulbs, hermmies, bud rot, seeds, and droopy leaves ............................ Typical  , I can see the funny side of it though ;)
love mand xxx :)
its about to be 3 years for me, i love every moment of it, i just like to take a radom seed and pray that its a girl, and when it is you get so happy ahhh man, its just fun...
3 months...
Wow... nice contrast. 32 years for Zandor. about 30 for a guy named JimBones (very friendly)... 3 for tCreator...
I've decided to take my male plants, and instead of cutting them down, I'll replant them, side-by-side with a female clone. I'll replant them... guess! In the great outdoors.
Not for any personal gain... but to spread the cannabis plant. Long way from my living home. What do you think? I hope the female grows... and the male pollinates her (sweet way to say "pop her cherry").... and I hope the female produces 3,quadrillion seeds. I hope a cannabis plant grows out of my rain gutter in front of my home. And I hope it's a good strain.
