wat is the big deal with U2

I don't like U2 or rock.

anyone knows a good actual rock band? coz all the good rocks band i like are from the 70-80s...

I have been a U2 fan since I was in Junior High. That was when Unforgettable Fire came out back in the 80s. I have seen U2 in concert 4 times. I will quote Louis Armstrong to answer your question - "If you have to as you will never know".

I'm not that big of a U2 fan now but I still like them. I plan on paying over $100 for tickets to their show this coming summer. U2 is a great band, they just have something most other bands donâ??t. They are not the best musicians in the world but they are great performers, great song writers, and they put on one of the greatest show on earth! When you leave a U2 concert you feel like you have just witnessed something amazing! Almost like you got to be a part of some kind of miracle on earth. I donâ??t know.


Oh and the name U2 comes from the name of the U2 spy plane from the cold war era. You really didnt know that?

i was vibin to Queens of the Stone Age while back, theyre pretty good, havent chekkd em out in a while tho
too focused on other genres of music
Opeth has a nice sound, but i dont remember what genre they were

U2 was named after the american spy plane of the same name.

The big deal with U2 is that they were basically rock gods in the 80's and up until '92 with the release of Achtung baby.

After that they basically went downhill in my view.

They used to be very politically active and Bono still is but really they are riding the huge fan base that they created 15-20 years ago.

So for today's kids, and me U2 is kinda lame now.
