Actually, while Adam and Eve did have two sons, Cain & Able (one killed the other), they had several more children after that and they did do some incest (sis, only if you were the only chick on earth besides mom). I'd try reading the Bible before making claims that it's a bunch of BS.
I personally believe it's true; besides, it has better insight than "if you blow up yourself and other innocent people, you will have 30 virgins waiting for you to have sex on the other side".
Also, the Bible acknowledges that none of us are perfect and that we can't achieve perfection in this life. We were all made in the image of Adam, the fallen man ("fell" in the Garden of Eden), but the Bible says that's why Jesus came and lived a perfect life for us and was crucified, to pay our debt for our sin and imperfection b/c we can't do it ourselves. Not preaching, just trying to give a view that isn't muddled with "send me your money" or "you're gonna burn, you evildoers". Jesus hung out with "sinners", but it was the religious of his day that he said would be the ones to burn. Just my observations. I know many disagree, and that's quite alright.

Yup..its a story of incest. Adam and eve made babies who made babies with each other.
Supposedly they were geneticly superior and could live for hundreds of years back then. As more people bred with each other we came to this point where we only live almost to 100.
Of course the bible is a beautiful pack of lies. But thats how the story goes.

And as far as evolution is concerned, if one person evolved, was it man or woman? And if two evolved, and one "happened" to evolve into a man & the other a woman, they would have had to evolve at the same time, and would they not have sex and have children, who would have to have sex w/each other? I don't get evolution myself...I mean, what are the odds that an ape would evolve into a human, and if so, they would have to have sex with other apes, right? The odds are so against it (evolution), and still how often are mutations (what evolutionist claim is how humans came about) beneficial? I firmly believe in adaptation, but not evolution. Below is one link for the argument of creation, but there are many more. I like to tell folks I beleive in creation...they think I'm nuts!!! Call me a rebel, but I like to root for the underdog!

I've got a deep one for you...which came first, the chicken or the egg?
I think the chicken, but she still got laid!!

I'm sorry... I hate to disrespect your beleifs, and I'm terribly sorry, it's just... christianity is a JOKE :) The entire concept of man and his relation to the creator is totally fucked up. And so is that heaven/hell concept. Like if you sin you are going burn in hell when you pass? Talk about a way to keep people in control  Man, learn up on the different perspectives of the religion and not just your own. You might just learn a thing or two.

It's so fucking hilarious too. It's like christianity is truly a fictional religion. Just a bunch of crazy high people writing stories about the earth and it's creation to give people something to beleive in. All of the books were written WAY after any of that shit happened. Way after the supposed birth and death of christ... How on earth do you put your trust in some 5th or 6th century writers? Like because they was around so long ago they know somethin' we dont? Get REAL :p

Without saying too much, I will say that I personally believe that a lot of
those ideas or beliefs were created a long time ago to give clueless people
something to believe in. I think my grandmother said it best the other day when she said without god, or church, she would've never been able to take
care of my grandfather as long as she has.
It's relatively impossible for any of those beliefs to make sense, not to
mention improbable. Definitely research and draw your own conclusions. :)

Not a problem, we all have our beliefs. I believe what I believe same goes for you. The way I look at it, if I believe and I'm right, then it's all good, and if I'm wrong, no loss. But if I'm wrong, well then that would suck. It's a choice we all make, to believe what we want. We'll just have to wait and see who's right....

Great outlook smokincajun, that's what its all about, not caring what the fuck anyone says, beleiving in something because you TRULY beleive it. Respect :)

Grandmas are cool; so are Grandpas. At least most of them anyway. I've been through a lot in my life, and I believe that without God (not neccesarily depending on church), I'd probably be dead or in jail. I realize I'm drawing some conclusions based on the unseen, but I guess that's faith. Folks can call me clueless, a fool, naive or what you will. Hey - that pretty green plant that we all enjoy had to come from somewhere! I'm not much of a debator, so I'll leave it at that and get down off my soapbox now. Peace, and Merry Christmas to all!
