I would like to have lived during colonial (American) times. If the natives didnt try to kill you, you lived miles and miles from your nearest neighbor. The English government GAVE land away for people to just settle it.
Hemp was a common crop. Im sure these settlers sat out on their porches in the evenings and smoked a few leaves :)

FUCK THAT. no tv, computer, cars, normal society. bitches wouldnt come as easy and they all stayed virgins till they were married. no such thing as indoor growing, and you would have to find it wild and i doubt it would be that good around wherever you are. you'd probably be smoking middz or something if you could even find it. no such thing as lighters, nor lights in general. when it gets dark you got candles and bed. if you werent a king you were basically a tool.
i'd much rather be exactly where i am now.

I was watching the scene in Return of the King just before they all go to battle and Aragorn stirs up all the dead warriors. And it occurred (keep in mind I was high at the time) to me that with all those men, and all those horses and leather and chain mail and three or four days on the dusty road, man that camp had to stink to high heaven. I don't think anyone took a bath in any of those movies.
it would be cool but there is no meds/cures if you get sick :(
