does she look about ready? [pics]
since i just flushed her last night [friday] if i havested
sometime during the week would it be alright... or
do i have to wait for the benefits of the flush a bit
longer?
she doesnt look like shes got any plumping left to do?
i was originally thinking of letting her go til wednesday
then giving her a bunch more water and then putting
her in total darkenss til friday and then doing the chop,
does that sound like a bad idea? are the amber trichs
going to start snowballing like crazy now that they have
started turning a little bit?
my last plant took 12 weeks and still didnt really have
much amber, so this is a whole different animal im up
against...
i thought maybe the purple color would be a tip as to
the strain... oh well...
i cannot wait to smoke this chic...

If you are using just water to flush then you need to give it water everyday to flush it out for at least 3 day's. I assume you are growing in dirt?

yes, in foxfarm ocean mix.

did you use organic nutrients for them.
If you did then you don't need to flush organic nutrients

i did use organic nutes... the foxfarm stuff.
after looking at her yesterday i decided to put her
in total darkness this evening. she looked like she
was ready honestly...
i clipped the tiniest bud on the plant last friday and smoked it this
evening even quickly dried it was damn good smoke...
damn good.

just so ya know fox farm nutes are NOT organic
big bloom is, but the other 2 are not.. they are 'organic based' meaning they are made of of the same harsh chem ferts as the cheap stuff, they just have some organic ingredients.... but the chem nutes kill off beneficial bacteria, so mixing them with organic ingreditents doesn't really do much for ya in terms of organic growing
i use the fox farm stuff myself, and i think its great... but next time i need ferts i am getting something thats a true, 100% organic :D

the last one was a huge plant... she had like 44 nodes
total, but weighed in at right around 2 ounces which
was highly disappointing. the buds were very light
and really hairy, the buzz was pretty good, but...
this plant is dense and stinks like crazy and from the
tiny bit of it i tried a few days ago it rocks!!! it may
not even yeild as much as the last plant, but growing
a nice short indica is a lot easier than a huge lanky
sativa that didnt really pay off...
ive got 4 clones of that sativa flowering right now,
and 2 clones of those clones vegging, but due to
space restrictions i may phase that strain out of my
grow...
ive got 3 clones of this plant vegging right now...
im chopping her this evening when i get out of work
so hopefully she will be dry enough to start smoking
at least the smaller stuff for new years... i know its
gonna take a long time to dry this chic properly
though... which is gonna suck...
ive also got a sweet tooth 1.1 which looks pretty awesome
about a week and a half away from harvest...
mmmmm.... :rasta: :stoned:
oh, by the way, this plant, jenova vegged for 8 weeks and
flowered for about 58 days... shes been in the dark for 2
more days... so 60 days... waaaaay faster than my 12 week
sativa... ugh...

let more of her leaves turn yellow the more leave that turn yellow the better the bud. Because the buds just suck the sugar from the leaves to make it a better smoke.
