I dunno about the US or other countries..but here in Canada they send a letter if the intercept something..
Never use a real name in the sender column..but be damned sure the postal code is correct...
If you have a package a week seized..best start concerning yourself..otherwise I wouldn't worry..
And for the record..if you are in the US..this is what the could do if the so desire..
Make a controlled delivery..arrest you and seize your property..even for a small amount..
Enter your home..bug your phone..open all e-mail and electronic files..all without a warrant...
Bottom line..don't get too warped..the average person doesn't have to worry..but don't make a habit of it..
And be careful who you deal with...
Not quite. The so-called Patriot Act was repealed recently. So they DO need warrants etc to do those things once again.Quote:

I made a deal with my friend. I do all the practical, like ordering, paying and so on, and we use his adress and name. and he does not have anything they can use to prove that he ordered it.
I don't think the Patriot Act has anything to do with it. It does allow for more secret shit directed at american citizens without court orders but the DEA, FBI, etc have had extremely broad search and seizure powers, some signed by reagan, some signed by clinton, and everyone in between, for a long time now. The RICO act is the one that allows them to take all of your assetts, computer data, etc etc. However it is usually reserved for folks who are actually making a profit on drugs. There have been several attempts in congress to extend these laws to users and I think the supreme court recently ruled on some of the search and seizure methods, mostly in favor of the cops such as using infra red heat detection to find growrooms. (i think it still requires reasonable suspiscion and a warrant) The supremes also ruled recently on the issue of searching cars. It's pretty much at the cops discretion and he/she does not have to be looking for anything specific anymore. It used to be that unless they were looking for something specific, they couldn't use it in court if they found something illegal. You still have the right to refuse but then they just impound the car, get a warrant and search it anyway.Quote:

Howdy Y'all,
This is what I said in another thread to pisshead80:
"Howdy pisshead,
This article confirms what I already suspected, that packages and mail, crossing American borders,is looked at and sometimes opened. I had a gift of compassion, from the Nederlands siezed and got a Customs letter, then everything from Canada, got intercepted and I was finally paid a visit,by the feds and the local narco task force, the fed said that I was gittin too many gifts of compassion from Canada, and that it must cease and desist, leaving me with the warning that my po box was being watched..hmm..maybe I should have the person from Canada, send me a harmless letter, and see how that works out..it would be playing with fire tho.
Someone said,in a thread about why one shouldn't order by phone/mail,that one should only use mom dealers from overseas, but it seems to me,that they wouldn't stand much of a chance, compared to mom dealers whose products don't cross international borders.
Have a good one ...."
This is what happened to me after accepting just one mom shipment, and before I could even send out the payment, now the feller thinks that I never got visited and that I was just trying to scam him-but I wasn't..I couldn't send the payment to him, because I was being watched, may still be watched and if he was compromised on his end, even sending payment from another town, would give the pigs all they needed to nab both of us. I reckon it's one thing to git mom orders in the city, but it's a whole nother story in a one horse town where the postal workers know everyone's mailing habits. A big city post office,is used to gittin international mail, but little one horse towns like mine, are not and the postal workers git mighty dang snoopy !
I don't know what the solution is,if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to share. Moving to a big city-is an unacceptable solution for me.
Have a good one ....
howdy.
I live in the biggest city in norway, so that wont be a problem.
However, the adress im sending it to, is a friend that is clean, and we made a deal to use his postbox. So if the police comes to him, they cant find anything anyway.
But its the first time i have heard about so much trouble! Did you order alot before this happened?
