THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING

The rules were supposedly handed down through the 12 disciples.
It may be in the Bible. But you may know, that I believe that those disciples' words have tampered with.
There may have been proof of God, but it was deleted.
What religions live in fear and where are these people?
I have to start watching more European flics.

Oneironaut, without you the religion has turned to chaos!
But I have my own quotation about wisdom...
"The devil has the broadest perspective for God; therefore he keeps so far away from God--the devil being the most ancient friend of wisdom."

Correct! but when the scriptures talk about fearing the Lord they do not mean fear the lord because of his rath lol, perhaps the old testement spoke that way but Christ himself by all means spoke of only Love! no rath.....
To fear the lord is to truly fear not having him in your life! for example David begged the Holy spirit not to leave him! he feared being without Christ!.....so fear not having the lord and not his rath!.......

Wait, so all those Bible verses which say to fear the Lord, really say to fear the Lord not being there? That would be like me telling you to fear your legs, because if you lost your legs you would be miserable.

Please, provide me with the compelling evidence which drives you to the conclusion that there is a God and that he sent his rules through the 12 disciples, who screwed it up, and God never came in and made a correction (even though he supposedly wants us to get the religion right or he wouldn't have influenced the disciples in the first place). There must be some reason why you believe this, and I am of the opinion that this is for psychological comfort and emotional reasons primarily, and your lack of evidence further confirms my belief that this is the case.
Good thing you have that part of your belief that says the Bible isn't true to the original, so you can conveniently ignore those verses which disagree with basic human morality, or your own personal opinions about morality. Like, for example, all the verses about Hell and how evil gay people supposedly are and the dozens of Biblical verses urging us to fear God.

So to answer your question, a whole lot of them. Especially Christianity. If you really believe in the Bible, that is, instead of throwing out anything you don't like.

For Oneironaut, you might appreciate this one:
"It was subtle of God to learn Greek when he wished to become an author--and not learn it better."

Ok, I was only saying that there IS a bible from 2,000 years ago, and SUPPOSEDLY 12 disciples knew the Word of God.
The Bible was threaded and new phrases and text was thrown in at the commands of the Roman Emperor Constantine and the hands of Eusebius, sometime in the 4th Century.
Those who didn't listen were banished or oppressed.

the use of fear as a motivator demonstrates a lack of control. its so immature of a tactic as to be almost instinct. This is the thinking of a reptile, not a god.
Plz recycle.

And one more thing. I don't read the Bible. Haven't read the Bible. I've only opened it up to see what the ancients wrote.
And then I find out there's more:
My friend let me borrow this book. It has good insight on the Gnostic religion, too.

I believe in the Father and Son. I have faith in the Father and Son. I fear the Father and Son. These are my beliefs alone. I'm not here preaching to the masses or trying to convert people to my side. I'm taking a stand for what I believe in. Nothin more. Please respect me, as I have respected you.

Green Love, there is no one I respect more than Our creator. If someone believes that no one created every single lifeform, every piece of organic matter, then they're only proving that they can't prove it.
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hail Mary, Hail Mary, Hail Mary (in respect to a woman, Her beauty, and Her ability to give birth), Dear God I believe in You, Dear God I trust in You, Dear God I Love You, Let it be as it was in the beginning, now and forever shall be, World without End. Amen. Sayonara. Peace Out.
