doesn't look like he's really that much of your friend, buddy..
Talk to him about it and see why he's being like that, but if he still refuses don't get mad. Be the bigger man and act like it means nothing to you. Then next time he needs something from you (make sure its not anything stupid like a buck or something like that, but something important) and just remind him of this time.
On a karmic side look at it like this.
People should form a relationship with the plants essence rather than just view it as an object to be used for your own pleasure. So, as natural course of action when you had your hands upon it, in it and you were involved in the process of bringing it to another form you initiated a relationship with it. You put some of you into it, and some of it attatched to you. You both had expectation of furthering this relationship.
Once he decided to let greed rule and ignore this relationship he alone disrespected the plant and relationship and opened himself up for a teaching opportunity to set him right. You can take some comfort in the fact that the universe did not ignore this happening no matter how small and insignifigant it may seem in the big picture. Its all part of the web and the small disruption in balance will be corrected sometime.
Dont begrudge him and dont try to be karma master and do a payback.
He likely didnt do it just to be an asshole. Help him learn and let it go.
If he accepts the lesson , all is well. If not the universe will find a way to teach him.
Its all good in the end.
If I sound preachy it is because I have a different view of Marijuana than many of you, especially the younger crowd. Too many of you react with violent ideas and revenge and the like. I try to show a different perspective than some of you might think of . Its all about respect.

a friend is someone who shared his personal stach with you...someone who will toke up his last bowl with you, even if that means both of you just getting a buzz...
there is a difference in smoking buddies and friends...i found that out, chances are you will too...
fuck, i hate it. he always does shit like this. and i always wait for karma to take effect, and i hope somthing bad happens to him so he cant smoke for a little bit or w/e, and it never does.

Karma isnt about bad comming to someone as a sort of revenge or payback. It is a set of circumstances in their lives set up to create the moment for opportunity for learning and growth.

It is all within him. An awakening on some subtle level. And the greatest moments of learning are in deeply personal scenerios because that is where most of our focus lay. We will pay attention. In these personal and intricate areas of our lives we can see ripples and changes that nobody else can detect unless we tell them.
His learning has nothing to do with you unless he shares it himself. All you are free to do is discuss with him how you felt when he did it and leave it to him to absorb as much of that as he will. Nobody can be forced to learn anything.
Let it be as it shall be and all will be good in the right time.

thanks..... i think i wont even say anything about it. but next month when i get a 1/2 ounce of shrooms, the first time me and my other friends trip he wont be there whether he wants to be or not
And no doubt that will have him asking himself "what the hell did I ever do to this guy to get shut out of a great night?" and likely a few situations will dawn on him that he just might decide to not repeat. :)
Its up to you whether you bring it up or not but if he brings it up I would suggest you are open to talking then since he's open at that point and frienships only get stronger with open communication.

I'd have to agree with the monkey on this one guys. It's just not worth getting all excited about. And besides that, what have you really lost? You shared some knowledge with a friend. It cost you nothing. It's sort of like the big corps and their attitude (sadly, supported by the courts) that money never earned from "potential sales" is actually lost money. (ie the RIAA and their losing battle against downloading and filesharing...trying to "recoup lost sales" that they never had to begin with) Frankly this school of thought always baffled the shit out of me since I simply can't reconcile losing something you never had to begin with. I too have noticed that a lot of you young stoners often make the mistake of letting your violent thoughts cloud your buzz. Now admittedly, I don't have the deep philosophical leanings that the monkey has (by the way, are you Davey or Mickey) but I have no doubt about the power of karma or as I like to call it, randomosity. If you fuck with people in a bad way, (especially revenge) it will come back and bite you on the ass. really hard.
On the other hand, it would be nice if your little friend would harken back to kindergarten lessons and share. He's definitely being a dick.
