I remember actually considering whether or not I should make the L capital. I decided not to because I figured it would look better.
I understand where you are coming from 3 sheets, it doesnt really bother me how other people write their names but I can imagine it makes you feel uncomfortable, like if I see something squint I have to put it straight or it annoys me.

True its just a word, but a word representing urself before others. Just as if you were to use Mr. vs nothing, it implies respect.
