Yes but theres other chemicals in beer and coke.
Or maybe god just put coke and shit here just for us to use every once in awhile? EHH? :rasta:
Its various authors being male of couse. Im not anti male by any means, but women should by no means be insignificant in the scheme of things and throughout the histoy of christianity religious "leaders" have excluded women. Every one of them had a mother that wiped thier shitty little asses and fed their guts and this discussion is going nowhere because it is an age old argument that will most likely remain male dominated due to fear, ignorance and superstition. Look at the history of male dominated religions, death, destruction, hate, war, oppression. Not something I care to ascribe to. You have had tolerance shoved down your throat, yet have none. That is the way of the "good book" ? Fuck that! Peace, love, tolerance, yeah right.
I believe in a male and a female deity, working together. All Gods being one God and all Goddesses being one Goddess. Its not just your way or the hiway and that seems to be the way it goes in that book of yours. A Lord AND a lady , a male AND a female deity. Mother/Father. Sol/Luna, etc.
I just find no spiritual satisfaction with a completely male dominated religion that tells me to be subserviant to men. If I was created and born into this world it must be for a better reason than that. So as I have an earthly physical mother and father, I have a universally spiritual mother and father. I believe in Do what you will, but harm none. I have some respect for your beliefs and have tolrance for others religious beliefs in an area where none is given.
Who knows, in the end it may just be something we tell ourselves just to give our lives meaning where none actually exists. Believe what you will, but allow others to believe as they will as well.
Personally I find it hard to relate to any religion, although I prefer the two deities idea. I do like the threefold rule from pagan stuff though, has a nice feel to it and is very positive.
God being a man is a bit like Jesus being white caucasian - unlikely.
Well I think you guys are looking for shapes in the clouds. If you look hard enough, you see what you want. You can't just say some god or goddess created and hold it as truth just because you want it to be. And arguing about it is like arguing who's imaginary friend is stronger.
hahhahhaa they would fight so fucking much it would be unreal. I am an athiest, sorry ladyM but it does kind of sound like you are anti male. Women are by no means insignificant, at all, they just arent portrayed very nicely in the bible. but who the fuck cares, it is an almost completely fictional work anyway. and if you are looking for women to be better appreciated then I would definitly suggest a feminist site, or at least a feminist thread.Quote:

Mary (jesus's Mother) was a prostutie. Watched on the history channel

This may have been said, but if God made everything as the bible said, he made the ingredients for methamphetamines, coke and the ingredients to turn it into crack, opiates and all sorts!
