Friends

I have one best mate who has been my best mate for years...we hang together most days...

i also have quite a few friends.....but none of them are really that close...and they are all into different things...its weird some skate...some go to pubs and shit...all of them smoke which i guess is why we know each other...but yeah
They used to call me all the time...i used to have a flat and everyday there would be people round.....which got extremely annoying after a while....

im not going to go on cause I just realised it would be a massive thread with me going on and on and on....so yeah

I have groups of friends who do different things and they will invite me out if somthing big is going on somtimes....or if no-one else is doing anything but im quite lazy aswell which must be annoying for them...so yeah

Oh i forgot to mention, none of my "friends" smoke anymore :(

As we split up, they stopped 'cause of gf's and 'cause i was really the only one comitted to it, sucks really :mad:

I find that my old friends, were the same way. I decided last year that I would move on and find new friends. My best friend really was the one I hated to leave behind. We grew up together and did almost everything together. But I found I was the one who always had to call her and I was the one who had to try and make plans. I also found she was always too busy for me unless she needed something from me. I haven't really found new friends that I get along with greatly and who smoke weed with me cuz some of the people I hang out with are not into that stuff. Thats cool with me but I need a smoking buddy lol. The strange thing now is that I am finding some new people to smoke with but they were my old friends...I donno its hard to explain and it would take forever to explain and I'm sure no one is interested. But now things seemed to have changed, I hang out with my cousin a lot who I was Best friends withbefore and now my other best friend, the one who seemed to use me, is starting to talk to me and call me trying to make plans with me. I figure I will give her another shot, but I'm looking out to see if she slips back to old habits of using me and treating me like crap. If she do, shes out the door and never welcomed back in my life.

My friends r a lot younger than me so i dont expect much from them but i am very loyal to them. They invite me over to shmoke all the time tho never on the phone unless they hadent already asked me to go over...ok nvm my friends fuckin love me the point i was making proves false.

i know exactly what you're talkin about. i went through this situation a few times. i found out the truth, they're not really your friends. they're just tryin to use you for something. back in the day when i used to work and just got into the smokin game, i would buy weed no problem and light up all my friends(at the time). then i lost my job and didnt have no money and they told me they were tired of me scavengin. pretty funny when i used to light them up all the time and never asked them for anything in return. they started ignoring me and not callin me to hang out anymore. i even gave them a 2nd chance and they did the same shit, but you know what im better off without them.

that is exactly what the so called freinds are all about what can I do for them cause as soon as things go bad for me they leave do not call do not come over do not do anything with me but that is their loss cause I have more now that they will ever have they can just KISS my HIGH ASS. THEY are just USERS

yeh tell me about it...i mean all my friends are very addicted to www.myspace.com and they always post things on there like 'mo's party pictures from last nite'....and im just trying 2 think, ive known her ever since i was about 12, y didnt she invite me 2 her party thats reli unfair............and plus its the same thing every friday and saturday nite wiv my friends.....all they wanna do is b little 17 year olds and go down to pub, get pissed (drunk) and then go home......to be honest i would rather spend £10 on weed smoke it wiv my college buddies (bcoz i know they always share there weed wiv me) then spend £10 down the pub on alcohol, if i want alcohol, ill go 2 tesco and buy som for 1/2 the price.





so everybody tell me, do u mainly just hang about with people who smoke weed? ive come 2 find out that at the college i go 2, there is a big group of people that hang about at the back of the car park (the field) and there is everybdy there u can think off, chavs, goths, ravers, emos, wiggers and to be honest we all get along wiv 1 another just bcoz we like the same thing and i think that is something reli special, the only time we have any trouble is when the security guard of college comes alone and asks us 2 move lol :P

When I was younger there was always a crowd of US. As I got older this one went this way, that one went that until it was just a few of us left. Now there are about 5 people in the crowd and even so we dont all hook up anymore. I see this one or that one here or there. We try to keep in touch, but the fact is life happens. Sometimes I think theyre jerks and leave me out of things, but usually that is just me feeling sorry for myself for some really stupid reason. Friends change and grow and leave the group and sometimes wander in and out of our lives.

Its a societal defect. 30 years ago people stayed put and there was a kind of loyalty that is gone in todays world. Sometimes it makes you angry when it seems everyone is going in 10 different diections at once and you arent one of those directions. My own thoughts tend to run towards feeling that people no longer know how to be real friends. Society has evolved into a personally self centered culture and those outside of their 3 foot personal air space dont matter as much as themselves. Its sad to see. In the 60's and 70's everyone loved each other, now everyone is out for themselves and are full of anger and hate. Those fucked up reality show are representative of todays morality. People climbing over the backs of others to get ahead and "fuck you if you dont like it cause you dont matter."

Its such a "busy" world. I just had dangerous major surgery and not one of my "friends" has stopped by to see me, they have called to say how "busy" they have been. WTF? I guess I'm old school, someone I care about is down or needs anything, I will drop what I'm doing to be there for them, even knowing its only one sided.
The problem is you care, and I applaud you for it, you have feelings, hold on to that, it makes you a better human.

thank you for your kind words LadyM you're a very decent human being. i would of loved to of lived in the 60's/70's the hippy age, everybody getting along with each other, everybody protesting against war and just being peaceful and caring to everybody.

I kind of know what you guys mean. None of my friends smoke, well one does. but I just have smoking buddies who arent really friends and then I have my friends. just two seperate worlds I guess
