exactly! it's all metaphors! santa clause, easter bunny, and the tooth fairy all do exist. we don't lie because our parents have done it to us. lying is nature. maybe if trouble didn't exist, lying wouldn't be a part of our protection mechanisms, but since there are consequences for our actions we feel we must protect ourselves from the possibility of being hurt. with that logic in mind, lying doesn't seem bad at all. i'd much rather lie than to be hurt.

I'm a pathological liar; it's in my blood, hence why I lie. MWAHA.

i lie only to avoid the judgement of others... which could be called cowardly, but i dont care, i dont see why i have to be attacked by anyone else just for liking something that they hate.

I dont have any kids yet, but when I do, I'll let them believe in Santa Claus, just not in any kind of God.
