Yeah what is that shit? It's like every different band has it's own category. Which is why the band has a name...

yea man and do you notice how they suck? i listen to old stuff im not down with this new shit.most of it sounds like plain old screaming now.

chilled rock stuuf i like is.... pink floyd....sabbath.....i recently got into Jefferson Airplane who are very cool.

heavier rock.......i like twisted sister...ac/dc.....shit like that

and metal....
I like most metal.....from hammerfall.....to....cannibal corpse.....and everything inbetween......i dont like very much nu-metal.....but it seems to have disappeared anyway

Cryptopsy and Cannibal Corpse are some of the best of the death genre. Very impressive technical music.

check out a band called Psycroptic, if you have access to such things....they have an album called scepter of the ancients or somthing close.......its very good death metal

in terms of stoner metal, i meant bands more like sleep, orange goblin, electric wizard, kyuss, etc...
