but then that is not unusual, seems to happen more and more these days.
for at least sixty years i have wondered why people shave, i wonder why women shave when they have such pretty little fluffs and i wonder why men shave, i think it makes them look like women, guess that's the way i was raised.
i shaved once, guess i wanted to see what it was like, it is weird, not only was my face just hanging out there. it was cold, wet and forlorn, why would i want that? vanity would never make me do it, a women couldn't make me do it, and i sure wouldn't do it for the money! so why???????
my beard is my friend, keeps me warm in the winter, away from chill winds etc. guess that's what friends do..

i am also at a lost as to why i have received no real comments on my "second coming".
except torog, and a tough guy that was was gonna verbally abuse me for an hour, and then ignore me, both of them seem to use their mouths to write checks.
so why no comments?
a bit over the top??

i think humour in the face of certain death is absolutely necessary.
i can't wait until the next episode, he might get pissed if they don't start to relax.

Well..I hope that I git a little wiser with age..lol. I have turned away from materialism and the quest to git material things,and focus on what really matters..and that is my own spirituality and how I relate to the world.,and God and Christ..it really is all about love and loving one another-not trying to keep up with the Jones'es.

I'd like to give you a longer response on this subject,but I've been really busy with things lately and I ain't got enuff time to,for now.

there is nothing wrong with most christians and i go to the christian youth group and they are good people and to boot they are cool or maby i have a good preacher whose a woman. We don't read through bible and try to literlarize everything we do read passages that seem to relate to current situation in our lives and friends and family and at the end we all pray together. The bible is a good thing becuase it makes you think about spirituality ,how you live your life, and how you treat other people.

so far i can find no fault in what you have said, to talk about the Creator is a great thing, to cause people to talk of the Creator is even greater.
the bible was written by people, Christ never wrote a word in it. since it was written by man, he embellished it to suit the situation, controlling the population comes to mind.
Christians are always searching outside of them selves for God when he is standing right behind them, once they think they have him cornered, they demand you see her/him the same way,
many times by force of arms, it is not healthy to corner God.
praying is a healthy thing to do, i go in my closet or in the bush, it's nobodies business what i talk to my Father about, nor when i do it.
Our Father remember? so we are related, it is important to remember that when we deal with others, that makes learning how to treat people fairly easy, right?.

Well daggum..this sure is a change from the old days,at the Marihemp politics board..and it's a good one ! :)

I often pray to God,for the wisdom to serve God best..but I'm also aware that God expects us to seek wisdom as well..and to be open to it..to that end-I must acknowledge that wisdom can come from any source or direction..which is why it's important to listen to what folks say..it could be..that God is speaking through them..and they don't even realize it..wisdom,can come from the mouths of children,for instance..or even from my greatest detractors..so it behooves me to listen..which is why I will never put anyone on ignore.

When I left my wife,I left her with everything that I had worked many long,hard hours to acquire..we were at odds,all the time,and I finally realized,that I had to give up all of my material things,in order for my daughter to have a good and happy life. Since that time,I've had to start over from scratch,several times,and each time-it required me to give up most of what I had acquired..I did so,because I re-dedicated my life to serving my daughter and doing what was best for her..and I put aside my petty wants..true wealth,is spiritual..not material. I believe that God had to humble me,several times,before I finally got it. These days..I don't carry money in my pocket anymore,instead..I carry a 'coin',from my daughter..that says that I'm a good dad on it..to me..it's worth more than all the gold in the world. These days..I focus on clothing the naked and feeding the hungry..I try to be a giver..and not a taker. I realize,that my journey is far from complete and that I have much to learn still..I do tend to be too judgemental of folks..but basically,it's because I care for them and I don't want them to stumble and fall..or git lost on that wide highway..where many pitfalls await us. I also realize-that our spirits must be forged through the trials and tribulations of Life..we emerge stronger than before..if we can just be open to the wisdom that's gained from those trials and tribulations.

I often have to remind myself,many times,to simply trust that God will take care of me and those whom I love..God is wonderful at providing that which we need..and when God provides that which we want..it is truly a blessing..that I offer many thanks for.

I need your chastisement,for when I'm wrong about things..and I will try and listen to all who chastise me..I don't know everything and I ain't always right either..no matter how painful or upsetting it may be,it behooves me to listen.
