I think he did the right thing. first of all one of the guys was gonna shoot him so that was self defence. and the other man was running while shooting at him and he was running towards a group of people.

Do you feel it necessary to justify his actions? thousands of people are dying, your dad killed some fucker that would have killed him, given half the chance. Anybody would have done it

Yet the cops are turning in their badges and running like pussies.
You may simply say its 'his job' but its not as easy as that to kill one of your own. Any man who sticks his neck on the line to save other lives is a fucking hero to those he saved. It doesnt matter that he has trained for it, or ordered to do it. He saved lives with his actions.That is a hero in my book.

I'm not too keen on applauding death regardless of the situation. These are the types of victories soldiers used to keep quiet as a sign of human respect before murder given popular justification was "moral". They obviously must get control of the city back and have to use force if necessary. This I understand. I just don't think we should be so excited and happy about it.

no ones happy about it they are just saying it had to be done or it would have been worse. People that loot and shoot at hospitals and soldiers in this situation arent acting like humans and they deserve to be dead. I would shoot him withought a second thought

I wasn't saying he's not a hero, just saying that he doesn't need to justify what his dad did, and say he thinks it's right, nobody will think what he did is wrong, and what's done is done lol

I don't think peeople understand that it is marshal law,a basic war zone.You should feel notrhing but pride for what your father had to do to help restore order in a very dangerous place unlike any other part of the world right now IMO.This disater will change the way we as Americans look at our pampered lives.It's sad when a few idiotts exploit a horrible act of nature instead of coming together as they should.I would stil like to think in mt idealistic mind that this is a small percentage just over blown by the media's need for drama.Good Luck to your father & thank your dad for all those people who can't.Peace
