dude! what are you thinking?? a break? come on.. in other words she just needed a reason, just something to tell you so she could go do, exactly what you are thinking... sure ya might love her.. but you have to think now.. should you even bother.. and question her motives.... on why this "break" is taking place.

Sometimes my ex and I would get at eachothers throats hardcore, and we would just take a break from seeing eachother for a couple days. We wouldn't go off fucking anyone else because we had a little something called self control. We were still together, we just weren't hanging out for a little while because all we were doing was arguing.

Then, when the break ends, you guys get to have awesome loads of makeup sex etc etc.

But if you can't wait a couple weeks while things "cool down" to fuck something and she can... nothing personal bub, but she deserves a better boyfriend. I mean, what if she goes on vacation for a couple weeks? Are you gonna screw something and say "sorry babe, a guys gotta fuck ya know what I mean? ccmmmmooonnnn"

i'm not saying that, to me it sounds like she's trying to prove to him, and maybe herself she's in control of the relationship (shouldn't be on person's decision, they should both have to agree they need the break, and don't misunderstand that either, by saying that i say ust cuz she don't wanna fuck doesn't mean he can't rape her or something) or that she's trying to set him up for failure so she can break off the relationship w/o feeling guilty about it. i've been told "we need a break" before, and where did i end up? showin up to the mall to see what was supposed to be my gf hittin on some guy....
