Anyone in hte Canadian army?

actually durning both world wars Canada rose to the challange, in WW1 and 2 we had some of the best pilots, we went from small miltary forces to some of the worlds largest in the spans of these wars. Even our navy was massive in WW1 and 2, but thats because a good portion of supplys for the war came from canada and the us is very large convoys that were mostly protected by canadian war ships (this convoys having 100+ ships each), I think at the end of WW2 canada had somewhere of 300 fighting ships and had lost around 60 fighting ships (that is alot). Even right now we have a small force but they are very well trained and good at what they do and with the increasses of funding (projections call for the miltary budget to be 20 billion by 2009, with an increase of 2 billion each year afterwards, this compared to our current 500 million) more people around the world will start to realize this. And currently yes our navy is small, we have no carriers or battleships but we do have one of the most advanced frigates in the world, comparable only to the amercians and its not as if theirs are all that much better because they arnt. And if im not mistaken these frigates i speak of (the Halifax class frigates) are the only ships in the world that can be incorprated in an amercian battle group (this is because they are digitalized, as are the amercian battle groups, and i dont think any other nation has digitlized any of there ships to this extent)

so yeah TonyD you are very mistaken, i dont think increasing the miltary budget by 4000% is a miltary budget cut, yeah in the past we have but canada is a peacekeeping counry so we had no need for a 500k people strong miltary force.
