Lord of the Rings

I don't really like Lord of the rings. Just ain't my thing.

Lily is a big LOTR fan!!!! I've watched the last movie 12 times! :D Pippin was kickass, the scenery was fantastic! Filmed in New Zealand i think, most movies are. but i never read da books :(

i watched it last nite the first one was on TNT still love it even after seein it several times. a classic trilogy that will be remember as one of the best trilogy's ever.

Oh man the LotR trilogy is my favorite. A long time ago me and my friend drove around and collected 2/4's and cut them down and made some junky swords out of them and then we used to go fight in the woods. On Halloween one year we bought character costumes. I have the Legolas suit.

I always wished I could go back to an era where that really existed. Like a LotR universe lol.

I thought the movies were awesome. I first read the books like 20 years ago and actually saw the cartoon version when it forst came out in theatres. Needless to say I was extremely stoked to hear that they were going to be done with modern film making technology.

I thought Peter Jackson did a great job. My only criticism is that there were a few changes from the books. Not non-essentail characters, like Tom Bombadil, that were left out, but actual changes. The biggest one I can think of is when Arwen finds Aragorn and the Hobbits on their way from Bree to Rivendell after Frodo has been stabbed. In the books it was a different elf all together. There were a few others that I noticed when watching the movies but can't think of now. Anyhow, great films!! One of these days I plan to sit down with some really nice bud and watch all three from begining to end.

Hobbits love mushrooms, there is a whole chapter about it in the fellowship of the ring!

:D The movie was filmed not too far from where I live, and my hubby was a extra in it, not a big part just in the background. :D
