Funny you mention that, because Nanci performed "From a Distance," another song that helped Bette's career. Turns out the record label didn't like Nanci's voicce very much, so they kept her version from getting as much exposre. saw him a few years ago with his son's band, "xavier" backing at this small old movie theater in vegas (the huntridge)...awesome show! he's still got it...and his son will be carrying on for that family for years to come!
