Lol, go for the month!!
Well, there aren't any long-term effects of staying up for 48 hours. Two days is actually one of the low-to-mid class sleep deprivation periods. Some people, during the course of their full work day and activies with the family, stay up for 20-22 hours at a time.
Though its true that most people are different, most people experience the same set of symptoms after staying up too long. Some people usually start hallucinating, little things at first, like something that really isn't there from far away, like a mirage. It might disappear a second later. As it continues, visuals will be more upclose and more vivid, more "real." After 4 days of staying up, hallucinations can have progressed into a "bad trip." You might find yourself in front of something very scary, unable to escape it, "always following you." You might have entire conversations with people that aren't there, but, having been up so long, when you speak it is very hard. Your mouth seems to move very slowly, sluggishly. You might get the feeling that talking is just too much energy. Some people just end up literally drooling on themselves because they can't get their mouths to work right. Motor skills and coordination are nil, your entire body will ache and when you move you might feel the need to scream.
Thats just staying up for EXTENDED (read: a week or more) without sleep. Usually people just pass out before then, though. And this is without drugs. Though minor sleep deprivation isn't very serious, and in fact somewhat normal in the world today, extended sleep deprivation can cause minds to crack.
I've never been able to stay up more than 25 hours before accidentally passing out while watching TV.
Anyway, GOOD LUCK, DUDE. TRY FOR 3 DAYS, if ya can, if not, keep on keepin on as long as possible.
lol, does any1 know wot the record is? I don't have a clue. I used 2 stay up a few days in a row, but nowadays staying up for 36-40 hours every couple of weeks is enuff. I have poker nites with my mates & end up drinkin & tokin all nite, then go work or play golf the next day. I only sleep about 5 hours a nite anyway cos my body doesn't seem 2 like too much sleep :DQuote:

If theres no drugs involved its usually not too bad. I go to Asia quite often to visit family and/or for business and its usually about 50hrs between the time I wake up in the morning here in the U.S. and finally get to sleep over there. That's because I can't sleep on planes and get terrible jet lag. Nothing to do with any drugs. I get a bit dizzy and am pretty wiped out but other than that I'm ok. Back when I was doing crank I'd stay up for a couple of days at a time and would be a total wreck.
