thats a small fraction on what you've probably already spent on smokes.
ive been on and off cigs since i started smoking and im proud to say that i havent had one damn poison stick all summer long but ive been craving it all summer especially after a bowl, no worries tho that craving is under control.
good luck man if your really willing to quit smoking you can do it
get somthing to chew on like gum or sunflower seeds it helps alot
Smoking knocks ten years off your life, that'll be the 10 years I would have spent in the nursing home drewling on myself. Time for another puff! :D
I watched my father die a slow and agonizing death from cancer at 51 years of age...he smoked his entire life.
Even when he was dying he was smoking. I would have to sit up all night and catch his cigarettes as they dropped to the floor. He would get angry if I would say anything. So I just sat up with him night after night picking up cigs and putting htem out. It was the hardest, saddest, event in my life. :( :(
I find it really hard to understand how my father put tobacco and paper ahead of me. I will never understand it. ....what a really a selfish thing to do....
You are doing the right thing...smoking hurts the entire family when cancer is the result.....
I wish you all the luck in the world....I hope you are successful.
When you empty the last couple of ash trays, put those butt's in a jar with a screw on lid, pour in some water, make it nice and gross, then just put it under the sink or something.
When the cravings get really bad go get that jar, and have a good look at it, imagine that crap going into your lungs, then open it up and take a whiff, shit its gross, but those cravings are gone in a flash, works like a charm.
Keeping a pen or something to chew on sometimes helps as well.
Good luck bro.
i quit cold turkey 14 weeks ago...i just decided i shouldn't smoke anymore.
it's not so bad now, i really don't miss them. although i still occasionally feel like having one.
That's great PH!
I saw Dr. Andrew Weil maybe one of the coolest physicians in the world say that there is only one thing more addicting than heroin or crack, and that is nicotine...
I have been trying to quit on and off for years but it is such an elusive, trickster monkey.
Good luck and it will inspire me knowing that there are others out there, like you, that are fighting the same battle I am...
Any suggestions from those of you who have succeeded?
