i'd say maybe 8-10 weeks... not sure of the yield tho.. i plan on doing alot of cloning, so that i can balance out the am't of yield compared to a better developed, instead of an early flower like i'm doin..
YOu have underestimated the soil depth.
Also, the lights will be hanging down eating more space.
You need to LST this grow.
I got everything I need...I will build this weekend :)
yeah I would say it needs to be taller than 18".
i have used a large rubbermaid container stood up on end with good results before. homemade hydro system. i think it was around 30" high, big enough for 2 plants + lights. kept it simple for a quick tear-down if necessary.
can you provide pictures?
ever think of stackin two rubbermaids togetther
some like theis http://www.overgrow.com/edge/showthr...bbermaid+nimby
Or what you could do sheist, if height is a problem. Just turn that container on one of its short sides instead of having it lay on the bottom. That way you can gain a bit more height, but you will lose some width. I don't know:confused:, just a suggestion.
i thought of stackin, but it'd be more of an inconvenience... i need some lowrider seeds..
as for sideways, i could probably get away with that... but i'll have to purchase another bin... i'm pretty sure the skunk will infest the room with odor within seconds of exposure.. so construct a new bin... i would want the move to be quick and painless...
which is better tho, height or width?
height for sure...what i did for a bin was made one out of plywood. works perfectly...then height and that is all up to you...just a suggestion. The rubbermaids work good too.
but yea, height is more important then width for sure. and unless you have a pretty big rubbermaid, id advise doing LST or ScrOG... with scrog youd get a better yield too.
