I say that because 1. the attack was well organized like before and 2. more importantly, the use of detonators alone with little to no explosive makes perfect sense given much of the explosives were likely already ceased by authorities after the past attacks of Jul-7th.
In a nutshell, my take on it is that the attack was done by similar-minded, related folks and not by some "copycats".
The biggest terror threat is and remains "nuclear" ... fortunately, there are ways to detect various nuclear materials / interactions from relatively far distances - many miles away, with some nuclear interactions (not talking explosions) being detectable from part way around the world.
And on an aside, commercial nuclear reactors have various nuclear emissions - to be fair, such emissions are of such beneign particles/energies as to basically not matter in the whole scope of things, but point is that folks who claim nuclear reactors are totally 100% clean, etc either are ignorant and/or gloss over such details ... drifted off the topic a bit, but point is that nuclear terror remains the biggest threat, but on the bright side the technology to detect such material/interactions is much more viable and further along than technologies to detect ordinary explosives with the biggest problems being detection itself and false positives.
With all that said, I fear governments, in particular the U.S., are not putting the amount of resources in to detecting nuclear materials/interactions that they should be; mini-nukes, if widely deployed (Bush adminstration has advocated development of them) will likely be used against us eventually.
Finally, the most recent terror attack today, while frightening and all, may be a blessing in disguise - may be a sign of despiration, and provides Britain more clues to work with to catch the bombers and hopefully better thwart such future attacks.

Oh, so all of you guys are suddenly all down with George Bush?
I mean...come on, make up your mind. Like George Bush said
Your either our friend...or our enemy.
Me myself have no regards for the bombings at all...I do not side with ANYBODY but MYSELF...
This is the "evil, insidious" government being attacked!
The government that robs you of your beloved Marijuana!
Now your crying, because civilian casualities are getting in the way?
Death comes with everything..
I just want to know what side your on?
