He told me that the buildings would collapse from the heat - they were MADE to go straight down so that in the event of a catastrophe the surrounding buildings would not be hit as bad. When I got home, that is exactly what happened.
I was very close to the WTC in '93, when they bombed it the first time.
I??ve yet to meet a single person in New York that thinks the government was involved with the 9/11 attacks ?? and I know people who were in the towers, or in the World Financial Center (next door to the WTC), that day. We were all traumatized, and many suffered severe physical and psychological symptoms. Unfortunately, some people have to assign some kind of alternative reason or blame to man-made catastrophic events like this. It??s a survival mechanism and, while I don??t hold it against them, these stories should not be taken as an accurate picture of reality ?? even if they were in the middle of it. A LOT of people were caught up in it.
We know who was responsible for 9/11, and he's still on the loose.
the WTC was the most reinforced building. Whether or not they were designed to fall straight down, is irrelevant given the fact that there wasnt enough force to do so.
as for the heat, i'm sure a super hero could do it, but not jet fuel thats so hot it's actually cold.
and as for your new yorker point, there was a recent study done that polled more than 51% of new yorkers believed the government had something to do with 9/11.
and let's not forget the countless testimonials from dozens of people with actual crediblity tenure and evidence linking the event to more than just a simple case of 19 freedom hating tinpot terrorists.

When we were allowed to go back downtown, some days after 9/11, the neighborhood made the Col Kurtz' village in Apocalypse Now look like a geriatric rest home - complete with raving crackpot "prophets", sightseers, the smell of smoke and death everywhere in the air, Army troops, police and, mostly, a lot of very sad people. Some of the Fire Dept. houses were closed, as many of their firefighters were killed or wounded.
Please remember, there were several thousand people killed in New York that day, tens of thousands survivors had to evacuate the WTC, thousands more from nearby buildings (including me) and hundreds of thousands of people were in the streets. People that exited out of the back of the World Financial Center, after the blasts shook the foundation and blew out windows and entire sections of it (I have pictures taken inside the WFC a few days after), were put on ferry boats going to Staten Island. When the buildings collapsed, from the vantage point of the distraught ferry passengers, it looked like the island of Manhattan Island was SINKING because of the smoke and dust particles covering the lower views. The overhead Air Force planes were suspected of being enemy attack planes, because the air was so dense with particles.
One woman, whose name I cannot remember, worked for my wife??s employers and used to appear on Bloomberg TV to do some kind of financial reports. She had to go on disability from her experience on 9/11, and I don??t know what happened to her since ?? but she was lucky to survive at all.
Most of the men, in the aforementioned Ferries, were very helpful and brave, but had ??delayed? reactions to the trauma ?? they had PTSD later. The women got over it faster, on the average.
It??s easy to sit at a computer and advance the theories that YOU like, but the world here is different than what you think. We will never forget that day, and must make every effort to prevent anything like that from ever happening again - anywhere.
you're not providing any evidence to the contrary. all you're doing is pointing out that many people were hysterical at the time. who wouldnt be? but now, years later, many questions are still being unanswered. You can't look at devestation and say "this is pretty bad...the government cant be involvced".
Dont make the mistake of thinking that just because you love america and others do, there arent those in power that just dont care. They are the same people born with spoons in their mouths and are born detached from reality. They also happen to be the one with the motive and the resources available to make such things happen.
Just sitting there and using some architects claim doesnt make the questions go away.

alex jones is alot more respected than you'd care to admit. he might not be an official journalist but he has a following and he's won awards for his investigations and contribution to the community.
Just because he doesnt wear (or can afford) business suits and invited on cnn doesnt make him someone without respect.

The only promotion he's done is for his videos. I'm unaware of any actual books he's put out.
Do you have any idea of what capitalism is? As much as I'd like to sit and smoke weed until my lips are navy blue, I can't because I need to make money to afford my luxuries.
What does Alex do for a living? He works hard to expose the truth and he actually has documentation to prove it. He doesnt come up with his own conclusions and writes about it after a peyote trip. If you wanted to, you could go to his site and read an article he cited to back up his claims. With further research you'd find he was on the up and up.
And there are many things about his show i dont approve of. i dont approve of his stance on abortion, neither do i agree with his stance on mixing government and religion.
See, what I don't get is you think that just because he plugs his videos on his show he's some kind of corporate schill. If you would take time to even say, ask pisshead for his account info he'd give it to you no questions asked. and you wouldnt have to pay to see it.
In fact, alex always tells people to hold public viewings and to make copies. how corporate of him
So, stop thinking that it's free to run a broadcast show and hire a staff of what, four people and still pay the bills. it just doesnt work. and just to be crazy, let's say he only cares about money. how does that make the evidence and links he posts less substantiated if he never came up with it in the first place?
let's roll.

Here's something that I posted before about that turkey:
Lisa Guliani: You used to fill-in for Alex Jones. You did it a couple of times on his shows, correct?
Michael Corbin: Yes.
Lisa Guliani: Okay. Tell us a little bit about how that went for you and what happened afterward with Alex's wife - what she said to you.
Michael Corbin: Well, I used to be on the Genesis Communications Network and I was asked in October 2003 to fill in for him for three days, which I did. I got no pay for it, it was more a professional courtesy. And at the end of the third day, the last hour, Alex's wife chastised me because the video sales had dropped and she was upset because the sales had dropped. She didn't feel that I had pushed the videos hard enough. I was kind of disappointed because I did not get a "thank you" for filling in for Alex during that time.

At the end of EVERY one of his articles is buy my tapes and follow my link to join. "Buy a full year subscription and save 3 months!"
Maybe your right, Alex isn't money hungry...it's that bitch wife of his!

Okay, i read your article. It looks like another scenario taken out of context. If you notice, it was never mentioned WHY his wife wanted him to plug the videos more. We're just to assume that it was for personal gain.
It couldve been because they have bills and it couldve been because she wanted more people to watch. it couldve been because they want to roll in dough. but as it stands, you only have an article open for loose interpretation.
Also, where is it mentioned that Michael Corbin was expecting compensation. It reads as if he was hoping they'd give him something, not like they had an actual agreement. If i could, I'd do it for free. If i didnt have to worry about money I'd do it the whole week maybe more. It's not about money when you're trying to get people to wake up and stop the madness. In fact, it's your duty as a patriot.
When was the last time you saw someone get a check cut for them after they served jury duty?

Expected no pay...professional courtesy! Alexs' wife chastised him because the vidio sales dropped....after doing the show for free??? I'm SURE there is a good excuse..NOT!

Hey wait a minute, we have one side. Now how about a comment from his wife?
We still dont know WHY she chastised him. You just repeated what you said the first time. There's no evidence that it was directly tied with personal gain.
You're doing the same thing you accuse alex of. being a biased nut.
You showed a rather unprofessional article that only presented one side of the issue. Now you expect us to read it and take it as gospel. Isn't that what alex does?
No it isnt because you'd actually have documentation to back up everything that was said. If alex wrote the article you'd have links and references and testimonies from the wife (pretend shes not his wife).
So how is alex a corporate schill?
NY Fireman Lou Cacchioli Says 9/11 Comission Twisted His Words
Well, post his ol' ladies rebuttle! Or doesn't she have one? :D
