Drinking and driving is fucked up... no doubt about that, and it was the ROOT of what happened here, but there are other factors. Police chases are inheriently dangerous, but that doesn't mean that the suspect is responsible for ALL damages along the way ESPECIALLY if they police were being reckless. As the defense attourney said, we haven't heard the full story yet. I'm sorry for the loss of the police officer and I feel for his family. That doesn't mean that it wasn't his own, or another officers fault.
Sorry to hear about your friend as well.
i feel real bad for u man... im sorry
if you drive drunk and you run from the lawQuote:

i dont think the cops are cool in any way ,they are people with the same dam problems most have, they do reckless shit, but the fact is
one guy ran, when doing wrong and about to be cuaght at it,
and someone died becuase of his actions.
that shit aint cool to me,cop or no cop.
i want the fucking drunks off the roads,Me included when drinking
so the lesson here is DONT DRINK and DRIVE
peace
Your friend sounds like a punk
ahmen to that robert, when I heard of the pregnant girlfriend (probably drinking also) i shook my head. People DO NOT need to be having babies when they are 19 yrs old, and still in "party mode". people need to understand thatits a fucking human being you are bringing into the world, not a little puppy. Face it, the party ends when ya get pregnant/get someone pregnant.Quote:

Well sorry you are hurting, but your friend is an ass and he is now paying for it, could have been my kid he killed! I agree with, don't do the crime, if you can't do the time!
I don't agree with drunk drivers...And anyone who lost someone to a driver that was intoxicated will tell you the same thing. A friend of mine lost one of her 4 yr old twin sons when he was playing in his OWN yard, and the drunk driver came crashing into the yard and killed him. She seen it all..How's that for innocent? And this guy was a good guy too, never did anything wrong had a clean record but had one too many drinks..
Hope your friend works everything out..
And My blessings are with the cop
Jesus, you self righteous morons like to take any opportunity you can to lecture someone don't you? First abunch of london people die and your first reaction is "SEE I WAS RIGHT IRAQ SUX LOL U GUYZ LOSE." and now this guys friend dies and you lecture him on drunk driving? Didn't you learn anything torog? You apologized for being an unempathetic asshole last time. Anyway, I unforgive you for the last time you fucked up, because you clearly didn't learn shit.
Cmon, the guy didn't say he approved of drunk driving. How about sympathy, and then start another thread where you can be your regular self-righteous selves. -sighs-
I've never known how to handle threads like these, so I usually just read em and don't reply. Now I know better and just won't read past the first post.
I have officially been buzzkilled.
Sorry about your loss.
