At 17 you still have a lot more lovin to do. THink of this as good practice. Now you know what your looking for, plus or minus a few tweaks. I was engaged 2 times and both didn't work out. Both ended with the girl cheating or leaving. Both broke my heart. I mourned for years and wasted a good part of my life.
Yet, I found someone else. We're married and happy. When I think of the other girls I lost, I realize now they are the ones who lost out. So glad I didn't marry them.
It's hard to get that perspective when you are just 17 -- but truly, when you find the right person it will work out without anyone MAKING IT work out. Sit back, relax, and just let it happen.
