I hear there's even bigger catfish somewhere in the Mississippi. There's some kind of waterfall where the catfish just live beneath the undertowe of the fall. That way, the catfish doesn't have to hunt, it's food is right there. They live there their whole life and all they do is eat.

My sister and I used to catch those in a nearby lake, for sport, when we were children; but a three footer was the biggest; never saw anything quite that ugly.
