Damn jim, I am liking your method of parenting. Those kids are never gonna be griping about how "unfair" their dad is thats for damn sure!

i've never got high with my dad ,and i know he smokes, but i have smoked with my friends dad.

I'm a dad. I get high. My kids only 5, so we haven't had this conversation yet. I would probably do it with her after she was 18, but don't tell my wife.

My parents started letting me smoke at 17, when they knew I was mature enough for it.

i'm about in the same boat you are, my son can't even walk yet and i want to go into this with an open mind like i wish my grandparents would've had when i was younger (later on they just realized i wasn't going to stop so they got over it) but if my wife found out she'd kill me for it...
