I don't wash even when in public bathrooms... I figure if I wash my hands, I'm going to be touching that disgusting door-knob that hundreds of people touch without washing.

Thats funny about the shoes. I don't think I've ever touched my shoes since I bought them. I don't touch them to take them off, I dont touch then to put them on....

Yeh i never touch my shoes, and kick doors open, (unless i have to push the handle down) even if i'm a home, i push all the doors open with my foot (they're always open anyway, but i find it easier to boot stuff than touch it with your hands:D
