some coffee shops dont like americans and ive seen em turn them away. you can buy drugs on street in red light, at your own risk. get some mushies, there legally sold, and are so strong they'll no doubt leave yer with some mental health issues for a day or two!
JUST DONT ACT LIKE an american and you'll be sweet! I'm from UK and we go over on the ferry all the time, the americans stand out like a sore thumb, coz you go on so loud!!! Just kick back, Relax and dont be no fool!!

no,its true.i never hung out with americans while i lived there.but anyone saying they dont let americans in coffee shops is just plain wrong.they want your $$$ no matter where your from.its all about the money.
when i go to amsterdam im dressing in all black with my trenchcoat and black leather fucked up hat so the locals would be to scared to rob me.
im not sure why that would stop anyone from robbing you,everyone wears all black over there.you would look like everyone else?
Well, that is why you only carry small amounts of money at a time. How do the rob people over there? No guns I am guessing so either they have knives or 3 or 4 people surround you like in NY and take what they want or you get an ass beating and they still take what they want. I guess Amsterdamn is like any other place.
By the way, do they sell weed to take home with you or must you smoke in the cafe? How much is a joint or do you smoke out of bongs/pipes? How much is a joint of some mind blowing weed? I am surprised the Bush Admin has not asked for a law to allow drug testing when you arrive back in America, if you piss hot the send you to jail and then kick you out of America, only a matter of time :) J?K of course but I could see Bush thinking hard about it if you ask me
