Leaves @ The Top Of My Plant Are Wilting On My Newly Flowering Girl

Thanx and no, I'm not using CO2 with this project. I'm pretty much treating this grow as a ghetto grow, that's how "low budget" I'm going with this. Yeah, I'm an outdoor grower myself (Years ago), I've recently gone indoors. I couldn't tell you how many grows I've done so far, I've last count. Maybe around 50. Yup, I'm guessing it was over watered. This is my first grow with sour diesel, I was thinking that maybe it's a sensitive strain. Thanx again.

Thanx. However, no... low lighting is the basis of the experiment. This project isn't just about a low budget, it's about how much the plant will need to fight in order to existence because of it's bad situation, out of that frustration, that fight to live, what will it produce? I want to track it all, write down everything. I'm collecting the data to use for other purposes. These were grown from quality medical strains - sour diesel and pineapple express. Should be interesting results.

Your right, I should have said that "the pineapple express is fine, maybe the sour diesel is a more sensitive strain." Thanx.

Here's a few new pictures of the Sour Diesel. As you can see, "Ghetto" growing isn't all that bad. I've treated this plant like crap, I'll admit it. I haven't ignored it, but I could have treated it better. This is the forth week of flower. Oh, I did clip a few sugar leaves poking out of the bud to smoke, just to test potency, it gave me a nice buzz for a few minutes. I think the buds will be decent. I also lollipopped the hell out of it, part of the experiment.

Maybe it's because yours wasn't abused. I even picked lower flowers on the main kola's, so that those flowers couldn't merge with the top ones, making the buds smaller. (Yes, I know. Why would I do that? Just part of the project.) I should say that, Project Lumens is Mainly about lighting, but I'm also testing other aspects. Some of my test are facts that I'd like to reproduce. ...Just saying.
As far as yours not looking like mine. I can only say that maybe it's because you grow yours right and mine happens to be what Sour Diesel looks like when you beat it. Lol, I don't know.

Very nice for a CFL grow, they look beautiful. However CFL lighting isn't that much cheaper than HID's depending on how many watts and the bulbs your using. If you were to buy a 250 watt HPS, your yield would greatly increase and your electric bill would only see a slight increase. If your really looking to save money on your electric bill than investing in a quality LED system would be the lighting setup your seeking. Make sure the bulbs are 3 watts each and don't go cheap, your investment will be large, but the results are greater. Your grow results will be more than satisfying and your electric bill will hardly take a hit... well, it'll be much cheaper than CFL or HPS by a long shot. All the BS you may have heard about LED's stems from 1 watt bulb systems, make sure you buy a 3 watt bulb system.
I don't know if your looking to better your lighting or not, but I thought I'd throw my advice your way anyhow.
