It would be a good ticket. But I doubt it would get much support from republicans sitting on the fence. Gary doesn't really have enough name recognition with the general public. Now if Gary and Ron Paul would hookup that would be a good ticket. But I doubt Ron would accept second seat.Quote:

I guess its really too soon to be discussing third parties until we see what happens, but yeah, if Congressman Paul does not get the repub nomination, I would definately support him as an independent, too, if he wants to go down that road.

Its going to be an interesting RNC convention. I've got hunch Ron will be bringing a little surprise to the affair. He will be like H Ross Perot was of a sorts. Ron may very well be the decinding factor of whether a republican or a democrat wins in 2012. It appears with his crew working behind the scenes that they have gathered quite a few electoral votes in quite a few states. If nothing else Ron can use them as a bargaining chip to get something he wants.
Ron Paul is funny man. He has ZERO chance at winning anything. Zero. American must KNOW this math? No? Why Middle or Independents dont get rid of this clown and invest in a better candidate with fresher ideas is almost scary. You know see? Paul wont want his boy son to have massive target on his back, he wont stay in race. Then world watch as some oddball with odd hair named Mitt?? Pawns Obama electorally in battleground states. Anything can happen between now and then, but Obama look like he in trouble math wise.
Back to the interwebs battlefield. Peace.
yeah, Congressman Paul needs some "fresh ideas". :D those old notions of personal liberty, limited gov't and honoring The Constitution of the United States are getting old, hu? :rastasmoke:
Yep I guess there's a large section of the Amerikan public that doesn't see much use in having a document like the bill of rights. If you vote left or right thats exactly what you're voting for, someone that wants to rip the bill of rights up and shit can it. Not me. The bill of rights is the single most important document ever written by man or by a fake god for that matter.lol Its musch more important than the constitution. As I've stated it doesn't really matter in the real world which form of government you have as long as the main founding document is something like our bill of rights. It states in plain english exactly what those unalienable rights are and nowhere in there does it mention they are granted by some fake god. They are granted by your creator. Which for a rational mind means they were granted by your parents.
Not at all, Ron Paul is getting old. When they dump HIM personally and find someone FAR more energetic they will do alot better and get WAY,WAY, more votes. Ron Paul, as a human being is not a leader. Sorry. Washed up. Dump Paul in 2016 and find a better candidate. Some of his ideas are great, he just doesnt have the swagga to garner the MAJORITY. Never gonna happen in ur lifetime. Bet $. And he isnt gonna kill his sons job and future career by being a Ross Perot in 2012.Quote:

I would wait till the RNC convention before you count him out. He's definitely got a plan.
yeah, I understand. that is your opinion. I'm not going to try to guess what he might do if he doesn't pull it off but he is the only one in the repub race i would vote for. but i'm old i don't really care much about one's swagga. but i'm sure those things are important to others. the important thing is he helped changed the discussion and some younger folks are getting it. its just a tuff slog against the media's noice machine.Quote:
