Double Harvest With a Few Seeds?

Just doin' what I feel I should!! HELP... If I know it.. I share it... Not greedy with what I know. I can't take all the credit for what I've learned along the way. This site was one of the sites that taught me alot. Due to the ones that had answers to my inquiry.

I fully agree, but, if you are growing regular seeds, (not feminized), any extra stress can cause them to naturally form into male plants.
I had read in one of Mel Frank's books that there were studies done on stress and a higher percentage of the plants naturally turning into males due to stress such as wind, dry soil, etc. Mel Frank mentions that a plant needs to reach a certain maturity before it decides if it will be male or female, in this same book. The lower stressed plants had a higher percentage of becoming female. As for me as a grower, I cannot claim whether or not that this is true. I may have just been real lucky and ended up with a higher percentage of female plants throughout my growing experiences. I would only take it into consideration if I were paying a lot of money for the seeds.
Otherwise, I too prefer a little extra stress on the plants, it makes them tougher.

This is weird.... Cause I just sprouted 9 and this time,only 2 of 9,were female. And the other 6.. Making 15.. Zero of them were female. Thank God,for clones. I love marijuana multiplication! Dutch is the bean expert! I just like knowin' it's female. Kinda like goin' to a bar..Make sure it's a chick!

My standard homemade seeds have a consistant 55%-60% female ratio... so, I plant/germinate about 16 seeds. This makes it pretty easy to get my 8 or 9 females. That's the most, I have room for.

With fresh, standard seed bank seeds...I averaged about 35% female; the last two years.

I just keep replacing the mother from best looking clone. Do you think strength and vigor is lost this way.

I sure do.. Because... A clone from,a clone,from a clone...Etc.. Loses vigor after the second cutting. The mother is at it best! Then you clone and the clone will be explosive and within months of taking more from the clone.. They tend to decline,but produce well! If ya tend it right. I've been doing the same strains for awhile.You seem to learn more by not changing in mid stream.. I changed in mid stream,before.. How'd that go? Not to good!

I can say that the mama's I have are a clone only generation... Ya'll don't know nuttin' bout that! Neither do I... I made that up!hehe..I might be drinkin' Starbuck's Columbian! My mind must be jittery!

Round here we got plenty of shine! I'm just stuck on Buds and Crown! Plus... I don't know of but 1 around here I would even trust. Never know what they use for a still.. Safer with BUD! Thumper keg till death!
