Miracle grow also contains urea nitrogen...correct me if i am wrong, but i thought i read that this cannot be compeltely flushed out of the plant.

Absoluetly without a doubt in the Nutrient world at least in my opinion you get what you pay for 4 sure! The homboldt county's usualy run anywhere from 25 ta 45 buks for the smallest bottle but (at least for me) lasts well over a year so i dont see how you can possibly go wrong with investing some money that inturn will pay off 10 fold..
Properly ph'd water.
The Fox Farms Trio. Pretty-much to their instructions on the website. (not the bottle directions, which I believe assumes use as a stand-alone nutrient instead of a nutrient system) If in FFOF soil, use WAY less and sneak-up on a maximum if so inclined. I know WW grows great shit with his system, so don't discard it as too minimalist. More is hardly ever better in growing cannabis.
A quality potting soil of consistent mix and ph. I recently started using FF Ocean Forest, which is ph buffered and gives the plant pretty much all it needs. I'm using way less of the trio, but I did find myself thinking the plants could use a little bump of nutes during the growth phase.
Soil Syrup (humic acid) at half recommended dose, for after the monthly flush. (once of nutrient age through to harvest)
Unlulphured molasses (Grandma's, Brer Rabbit...) from mid-flower stage till harvest. Excellent source of carbs, iron, calcium and magnesium. Go easy on nutes while using it.
Ok, I'll bite, bored right now anyhow.
Fox Farms Ocean Forest on a regime that includes repotting about once a month into the next size up pot... 4", 1/2 gal, 1.5 gal, and 3 gal pots
At 21 days in flower Bloombastic 1/2 ml per plant. Repeat in one week. DO NOT REPEAT again.
Molasses once or twice thru the entire grow, maybe.
PH'd tap water ... fresh without offgassing.
The BloomBastic is a bulking agent, one of many that could be used, very high P&K content.
IF I NEED to bolster N at any time I use dry powdered bat quano. Very rare, I am still on the same 1 qt bag I bought 5 years ago and only half way into it.
Attachment 277584Attachment 277585For veg I use House and Garden aqua flakes at the recommended dose. I also innoculate the media with "Great white" every other week to make sure my benefiecials are maintaining healthy populations. I also like to foliar feed with a product called dark energy(its basically fish hydrolysate, which is a higher quality form of fish emulsion).
1st week of flowering i use bushmaster to jumpstart flowering and control stretch. If your worried about stretch, grab yourself some bushmaster and it will solve your problem.
2nd week of flowering i give no additives other than Humbolt honey(food for my beneficials) and my aqua flakes base formula.
3rd-4th week I use advanced nutrients big bud and humbolt honey( a fancy hydroponic form of molasses) to plump my buds up in earlier flowering.
5th week I use House and Garden's Top Booster(a product that forces the plants to finish blooming). Ive used it many times and i dont know how or why it works, but the plants reaaaallllly start to grow resin after i use this stuff.
6th-finish ill use A product called PeaK which is a late flowering additive and hardener. It adds the quality to my buds that im looking for. The last week before harvest i cut off all nutrients and use plain Ph'd water until i feel the plants are ripe enough.
This is in a hydroponic system in which the plants only get what i give to them. FFOF is a heavily amended soil that has about a monthes worth of nutrients already packed in. A minimilist approach would be appopriate because the plant has access to nutrients at the right rates at the right times. If i gave my hydroponic plants plain water and a little bit of gauno here and there, my garden wouldnt last 3 weeks.
Personally i like to be a little more exact with my plants nutrition. Some tend to take the hippy approach(just give them some water and mollasses duuuude, let nature do its thiing), and some tend to take the scientific approach(Give them nutrients and oxygen in amounts that worth be virtually impossible to do in soil) Its all a matter of opinion and strictly depends on your own growing environment.
I use all advance nutes, b52 iguana grow, bloom, big bud, bud ignitor, bud candy, rhino skin, piranha, tarantula, voodoo juice sensi cal mg. Started with the basics n kept getting better results as I added extras. (The more expensive microbials) now I get 6-9 o's on plants from 4-6 foot. Easy to use and lasts longer than u thank.
I know everyone has different thoughts about any and everything! Here's a bit of info I'm able to contribute..
I use Botanicare.
Grow
bloom
calmag
hyroplex
That not worth a crap! Snake oil "Superthrive" 10 drops per gallon of ph'd water.
There are several recipes that would work for folks! This is what I'm comfortable with! Use them every watering with no ill affects! But the proper way to water is feed/water/water or water/water/feed or water/feed/water.I would'nt think it could be any simpler than that! Never a screw up if you use your nutes properly! Like ... Saying to yourself "since they ain't had no food in 2 waterings,I'll double the amount to make them grow faster!"
Not!! Your sure to end up with problems that will take weeks to reverse.Where will that leave ya if you are on a schedule or just need meds?
Just leavin' all ya'll a KISS! Keep It Simple Stupid! Not calling anyone stupid! KISS is a recipe for success!
