Something you might want to think about. Harvesting all the larger buds and letting the rest of them get more light for a couple weeks and harvest again then. This way you can get two different highs from the same plant. If you don't have any plants to replace these and have the time, this would actually improve your yield as opposed to harvesting all at once. Something to think about......
Nice plants BTW:thumbsup:

 Nice job, cheezey!
Is that "Big Buddha" Blue Cheese?
Jus' wonderin'. I chopped one of those yesterday. Running under a 1000, in dirt. Mine ended up runnin' 75 days in flower, she was showing just a hint of a few amber trichs @ chop-time. Also showing just a touch of the blueish coloration throughout, most noticeable in the tops @ leaf edges.
Really lookin' forward to a taste, the aroma is sweet indeed. :)
Great job for a first grow, cheezey!

 Very simple.
The week or so before you harvest you flush the nutrients out of the soil so that the plant only takes in water without nutes. This is done so that your final dried buds don't have a harsh taste to them when smoked, etc.
So after you flush your soil and after you have harvested the amount of buds you feel are ready on your first harvest, you then add nutrients back into your watering schedule for the next two weeks and then flush again and harvest, again!!.......
Know what I mean??

ok that all understood sounds pretty much straightforwrd...
now the first part of harvest how do i cut down the plant
do i use a streralised knife and cut the top buds off at an angle of each branch, and if i do this does it not leave wounds or leave a stressed plant.. if its fine do i need to heal it in any way or is it just as simple as chop the top half and then feeed the bottom half again..
im starting my next grow in 4 weeks so i have time to try two harvests
