"Flushed, 12hrs later nute burn EVERY WHERE !! Can this happen??!!

Question: I'm a beginner and I'm trying to figure out the flushing process. I understand how much water is needed and the ph levels the water needs to have. My question is, do you pour all of the water into the soil? If someone could break that down...really small...for me I would really appreciate it! Can't find anywhere were it talks about the step by step break down of how to flush. Thanks!

a flush is just that. it should run through and often needs more than one flush. obviously you dont want to drown your plant so it could take a week or more. remember roots need oxygen also. if your soil holds moisture for more than a week its not right. cold temps will retain moisture for too long as well. heat on the otherhand will evaporate to fast. woody earth retains moisture, perlite added will dry faster. you need to find balance. you should be watering/feeding about every three days depending on container size. airflow will also help evaporation and is crucial to good growth. be specific on your your soil, environment, heat and the like so that you can get a better answer.

I made the mistake of transplanting my plant in MG potting mix...which of course burned the hell out of it! I'm afraid without a flush and a ph balance it will soon die, just based upon all the reading I've done, not personal experience. Your right I don't want to drown my plant, which is why I'm a little confussed about how the flushing is done. If its is over several days or all at once? My plant is very small but it is already trying to start the flowering stage. I figured out that this was because of my light cycle. I also was using a 26W halogen light that = about 1700watts. I was told this was way to low so I upgraded to a 42W that = about 2800watts. Now I want to do a flush to drain out some of the nutes that are in my poor choice of soil but I still haven't figured out the how to enough to feel comfortable doing this. Could you please give me a step by step to doing this? Oh and I'm growing in an indoor closet. I transplanted into a 5gl bucket 2 days ago, this is when the burning happened :( Apparently the buck is WAY to BIG for my little size plant.

if its mg thats burning you then remove the entire package. dirt roots and all. set it in a tray and remove excess dirt then remove from tray and water your dirt and allow free erosion until it improves if at all. halogens are a poor light scource halides good, hps good for flowering.
