had a nightmare with the tent it wouldnt fit in my attic room due to the curved roof:mad:the tents huge!!!
so ive had to use the spare room in my house for this grow until i get a smaller tent silly mistake :D
lets just hope these flower without anymore hassle my hairs falling out with stress!!!
have i installed my filter and fan correctly as i had no instructions?
also i dont have an intake the tents just in a small room will this be ok?
i have a fan in the tent though
is there anybody out there to help me with this as ive posted a few times with no intrest?
shall i carry on or just quit my log?

thank you:thumbsup:

A passive intake will be just fine.

What is the size of the tent, CFM size of the fan, and CFM rating of the filter? The filter looks a little small which means it will work but will run out of steam faster.
For starters, shorten that duct as much as possible so that the duct is as straight as possible. That bend puts a good deal reduces fan efficiency. Passive intake from the bottom of the tent is fine. Otherwise it looks good.

CFM = Cubic Feet per Minute. It may be something different given that you use the metric system. The fan needs to move enough CFM to totally exchange the air in the room every 3 - 5 minutes. Every 5 minutes is fine. You need to calculate the volume of the room and divide by 5 (minutes) to get the CFM rating needed. At 20 - 30% to account for the length of the duct, bends, the filter, and any other drags on the fan. Get the fan size and then match it to a filter. Filters also have CFM ratings. Over estimate your filter needs by 15%. If you want to do the math properly you will find a useful link in my signature.
I'm asking b/c the filter looks a bit on the small size. It will likely work fine but with a shorter life. Similarly, over estimate the filter size and you get more life out of your filter (within reason).
Start those nutes at 1/4 strength and work your way up.
Good luck!
