Growing = Lonliness..

Hi prettypisces: I've been growing here in Canada and I'll agree with all replies u have been given at this point, it's been almost ten years since I had a close relationship as terrible as this sounds it is a part of what we are doing that creates this it's by choice but only because of growing not by wanting to live alone or being a hermit...
From experiance the renting of another place makes sense I had done that exact thing about 6 yrs ago but what happend to me may change your mind the place I rented I only spent wknds and the odd nite there b4 I new it a neigbor thought it was odd I was in and out and hardly there so they took it upon themselves to call the cops thinking I was up to something ?? Without going on for ever here as this story is long !! My grow house was never found but it did put me in the polices eyes something none of us want period...
So some food for thought ??
It's just as lonely growing here in Canada aswell !!!

This is a big issue, I would imagine, for many people who do this.

It isn't easy, but we need to stay below the radar, and to do that is to choose a lonely road. And, as you know, it isn't "paranoid" not to trust people with this info - it's a matter of survival. Some people are so petty and such busy-bodies.

For me, it's worth it only because of the incredible relief the products of my work give me. There is no other med out there that can help me like this one does, and it will be years before my state (or by then, my country) will allow me to have this medication for my MS. By then I will be either quite disabled or dead from this disease. I can't wait for them to get their collective heads out of their asses, or for them to die out. I don't have enough time for that. My life's a wasting!

I don't know if I could make this same sacrifice if I were using it recreationally, unless of course I was making a big profit!

But, whatever the reason for farming, it does create a lonely life. At least people here understand that.

Well, does anybody know how to start a paranoid growers dating site??? It kinda sounded silly when I first read it, but the more I thought about it, the more it might sound reasonable. Man, would it ever have to be secure tho.

I have an off/on significant other and have for about 8 years now, we don't live together, and she knows what I do and wants no part of it, so I always have to go to her house as she will not come here, period. I've often wondered how nice it would be to have a cool growing partner living with me, but I don't know how I would ever find one...If ya'll find a site that suits, or start one, lemme know!

Lol, don't think that would ever work, but lately, I've been on regular dating sites and checking out who is 420 friendly. That's definitely a start :)

I go into hibernation every winter when I grow. I don't let anyone but my best friend over and yes, it gets lonely. The dog idea definitely is a winner, that's how I get by, just me and my puppy. I had a girlfriend once who was cool, or so I thought. She one day decided she wanted to screw me and said if I didn't give her all the weed I just harvested that she was gonna tell my employer that I smoke. I work for the government, so that would have gone horribly. I called her bluff and since then security is top priority. My biggest problem is that we all know there are a ton of female tokers. Stop hiding yourselves away in your apartment and let us guys get to know ya.

Growers need stability in several areas, but if its a partner one is looking for, they should make it one they would spend the rest of their days with. :cool: Musical chairs gets old the older a person gets, and finding a good one takes time and patience. And yes, at times banging your head against the wall!! :D
