Know your strains and your room. Sea of green can be very hard to run out of one small room unless you have individuals buckets or two separate systems. Other wise it's a bitch to flush at the end.
Right now we have the orangebud and papaya ready in a week and a couple northernlights ready in 5 weeks. One of the hardest parts is to have clones vegged and ready to go once a month and remember the harvest is only half your room.
Depending on your light will depend on how well different types of plants can hang together well. We run a 1000 hps and one plant can get 5 feet while the 1 foot northernlights hangs out and gets enough light.
If you want I can take some pic's. I got papaya over 5 feet and looks like some nice weight too.
I would love to see some picks of your setup up mate if possible.
I'll get some tomarrow the lights just went off for 12. It's a small room 4x5x8 feet. We used to have 6 drip systems with 6 sites each in 10 gallon totes and no room to get in and check them and take care of them. Kept them small because of room. Now there's only 4 sometimes 5 buckets and alittle room to take care of them. Cyano-bacteria got the drip systems so we changed to DWC. A lot less work and the larger plants I think give a better harvest as well.
The real magic happens in the mother room. Cloning and vegging there will save lots of time in turning over a harvest once a month. Being as we are so small we are giving thought to going back to harvesting the whole room every 2 months and concentrating on the mother vegg room to improve harvest.
Remember you can get .5 grams per watt of light. So if you harvest once a month it is only half the room. So insted off 500 grams for a 1000 hps in two months thats 250 a month if you do well. That's enough for me two cancer patients and a diabetic most of the time but can be a strain if anything goes wrong.
Ramblin on cause I just had my wake and bake with some s.a.g.e. and papaya. save the northerlight for the evening or you get nothing done all day.
Pic's tomarrow.
Ha ha no probs mate cant wait to see it.
Wake and bake everybody. So here's the smallest sea of green you will ever see. To the right down low northernlights. To the left orangebud skunk and in the middle papaya. Papaya can get out of control and does wellwith bushmaster along with sage. the orange bud and northern don't need it.
Second one is looking up from the small northern.
third is a good shot because I can't get far enough away to get it all in but that's most of it.
the other two well they speak for themselves. All this is run on GH 3 part nutes and calmag. We have been testing a product called flower dragon that was used on the papaya and orange bud. If you only get one add on this is it. It will pack some weight on.
The papaya is in it's last week with the orangebud about a week behind but we are letting the papaya go an extra week as my diabetises friend just had major knee operation and needs something to put him on the couch and out. This will do it.
Hope you like the pic's. I will say that i don't think this is possible with less than a 1000 hps and when the big one comes out the light comes down for the small ones for 4 weeks so one way or the other they get good light in the end. If we have a strain the streches we put the up on an extra bucket to get closer.
Oh, forgot.
Pay no attention to the man in the pics. He is the only person on earth that I trust to watch my stuff.
Remember stoners smoke and Wizards grow.
not sure about the SOG part though.
Yeah nice plants mate but I thought a sog was more like this.
He did say he was baked... :thumbsup:Quote:
