Yep sounds like a sham to steal patients from caregivers.
Speaking of stealing patients, a patient of mine went into a dispensary in Louisville for a few grams to hold her over until she saw me and she was told that if she didnt sign up with a dispensary as her caregiver before Sept 1 she would not be able to go into any dispensary and that caregivers were going to be illegal as of the same date. Basically they were telling her if she didnt sign them she would not be able to get meds anywhere after the 1st.
You should out the name of that lying dispensary. These guys need to go back to hell where they came from.Quote:

Here's my understanding:
Pre HB10-1284, an MMC could take patients on as a caregiver.
Post HB10-1284, an MMC is no longer considered a caregiver.
I think some MMCs are scrambling because they still have the Pre HB10-1284 paperwork showing them as a caregiver for patients. They can't be a 'caregiver' and are probably trying to get their license count & 70% grow requirements balanced out.
This does not pertain to patients that have assigned a private (non MMC) caregiver.
as if it's not bad enough that we are now limited to 5 patients, these greedy bastards want to confuse patients, sign them up, and put us out of business once and for all. I'm not going anywhere - caregivers were part of this movement from day one. those predatory MMC's can go f#@k themselves.
Wow this is seriously making me consider not going to this event, I've noticed the dispensaries out here have bad relationships with there growers and customers. Not that there much better in other places but it is a little more tense around here.
Not much unity anymore, I guess we can thank the government for that.
This is off topic but would they up your prescription more; saying you turn it into hash or edibles? I've never made hash but it seems like you would need more that way?
Probably another Lame convention like the last one, I got better things to spend my limited income on.Quote:

If a patient already has a caregiver they do not need to do anything. They stay with that caregiver unless the caregiver needs to drop them off to get under the 5 patient cap.
The change forms were for dispensaries. In the past the dispensaries had patients assigned to individuals that worked at the dispensary.
That has changed. Patients at dispensaries now need to assign the MMC as their dispensary instead of the person that works there. When a patient of ours comes in, we have the form already redone for them with the center name instead of a person's individual name. They sign and it's all done.
It's confusing, but what isn't under the new laws ? :)
